Change of front light made a huge difference...Color white also males it pop contrast wise

for the first impression this screen seems to be a bit oversized but later u realized that it`s fine 👌can`t wait to see the packeges and prices

It's starting to warm up on my -- the headlights, the bumper.

Looks way better. Now give it power seats on the passenger side.

Exterior is much nicer, but the screen FFS. Driving my 7.5 in constantly rainy conditions and the one button press for the windscreen de-mister is essential. So much safer!

It is one-touch - right there on the light panel…just not a button. No need to interface with the infotainment screen at all.

Weird that this has the honeycomb lights but lots of other videos and pictures show they aren’t bringing it to the facelift gti…is it an option or something?

I do think it has to do with the light options, official VW photos have both this version and the one with the redline, so best is to ask the local dealership. I do think with IQ Light Matrix LED red line is there, so maybe these are the mid level LED's, but not 100 percent sure

You can get a night pack option with black mirrors etc and this doesn't have the red line at the front which is a shame imo

@@adamclose6230 black style actually looks so good with Kings Red colour. As it darkens front optics as well.

Much dependence on the screen, even for simple things like the air conditioner.

I will never ever get used to cars with a television screen.

Bring back physical button plz..

People complained about the previous's generation screen which was small and very laggy. They had to change it.

@@JosechezzI didn’t see anybody compassing about the screen size, at least the larger 10-inch version; this appears to come above the line of the dash, which I really dislike. Just too big.

They totally fixed the looks, transforming the worst looking GTI in one of the best. Too bad it's too expensive, they've removed the manual and the interior is still a "meh".

I'm buying this

Still no knobs or buttons, all touch screen. VW blew it again.

@@youcefkanhnawra7416except that’s where they’re least needed, the Haptic Touch controls on the wheel are completely intuitive to use, and actually easier than the buttons. Never triggered my heated steering wheel yet, either.

​@@johnyacoub69I agree that they're not bad to use, not nearly as bad as made out, but on occasion I've had mine not register touch, or think I'm doing some other action like sliding the ACC set speed. That's always fun. Buttons are much better

Nice car to drive. But who needs such a big and ugly screen?

The crappy "piano black" glossy plastic on the console is already scratched up and smudged to death. WHY do automakers continue to put this garbage into otherwise-decent cars? Boggles the mind.
