Beautiful car, definitely beats the Golf on looks inside and out. The physical shortcut buttons are much needed, especially after VW made such a mess of the Golf infotainment system. Fab review as always Grace!
I love the Astra A inspired C pillar element. Stunning looking car, especially in that colour.

I love Opel. I love all new model of thi brand. Very beautifull car this new astra
Role.on 2023 for full electric, but nice they are not following the capacitive buttons trends. Physical buttons, yes.
I enjoyed watching the Video Preview. Better looking than the Volkswagen Golf
According to another review a fully electric version is coming in 18 months with a 50kwh battery and 200 miles of range

Got a mocca bad buy looks good outside no room inside, cant wait to get my new astra ive had 2 astras last one was 2017 model nice car lots of room, this one looks outstanding.
Lovely car. I so want to be driving electric, but the lack of boot space and the likely higher lease/purchase price means I’ll probably end up getting a petrol one.

@@10aDowningStreet the front is actually inspired from The Opel/Vauxhall Manta from the 1970’s - The way that the headlights, logo and grille were all integrated into one module/panel. The Gt X concept from 2017 revived this idea and is now present in pretty much half of Vauxhall’s model Range. Don’t be quick to say They copied Hyundai when they actually pioneered their own visor design

@@DrivingElectric It has been confirmed that the ICE version has a 422 litre boot and the hybrid has 352 litres. That means the ICE is well above average and the hybrid is not far off the average ICE family hatchback boot size of 375 litres. So hardly as bad as this video would make you believe!
After watching thousands of car presentation videos, I found that... none of the cars have plenty of leg rooms behind........ :/
30 Grand for a hybrid...in 2021? Sounds a bit optimistic considering the chinese are building some damn good fully electric cars for half that price....BYD's Dolphin for example, soon on sale in Oz & NZ for $30k Au.

The visor concept is actually an original Opel/Vauxhall development. The Manta from the 1970’s integrated the headlights and logo into one panel across the front grille, which then reappeared in the 2017 GT X concept and is now on more than half of Vauxhall’s model range.

This type of screen came in A-Class 2018 and Opel also showed its screen in 2018, 6 months later, Which at the time was not independent free standing, but the difference from Mercedes is still great, Mercedes screen is completely straight and flat while this is angled and this also consists of three parts, one to the left of the steering wheel too, not just two, or actually a single, as in Mercedes. An angled three parts screen is significantly better, Mercedes is actually inferior for that reason.
