@@legokingiscoolhaha. Yeah, seems like all the major watch brands are shrinking down their watches to fit the more danty wristed of the male species. I can wear the smaller watches, but they look like ladies watches on my 7.5 inch wrist. Turtles, Sammies, Tunas and Arnies about all I can wear from Seiko these days. 42 is the absolute minimum I can tolerate.

No sapphire is a deal breaker for me, it’s a shame coz I really like the black one. The movement will also have crap accuracy.

Yes, at this price point, it should have a sapphire crystal.

This is not Samurai,it’s combination of Samurai and Shogun,that’s why it’s little smaller and have Shogun dial and hands and case of Samurai with bezel of Shogun. Official name among Seikopaths,Seikofans and armada of Seiko diehards is “Shog-urai”

Shog-urai is terrible nickname lol . Comparing this new watch to the Shogun and Samurai, it's clear that most details of this new watch are different from them . We should give this watch a better nickname like shogun and samurai .

Wow - as a massive fan of the 2017-2020 era Samurai - this watch look UGLY in comparison. At least to me haha. Maybe there will be a nice Save the Ocean variant released a while later...

I prefer the old Samurai too. The saving grace is the new burgundy red colour combination, which is rather unique.

The dial is not as nice as the original one and as for the case its nicer on the original as well they should not mess with a winning formula it's big it's bold it's a samurai no body wants son of a samurai
