Not while training, but in your free time if you find employment. The residence permit for studies comes with the permission to work for income on average 30 hours per week averaged over a year. This work may not prevent your studies from progressing normally or it violates your terms of the residence permit.

You can try and apply for work directly but if It’s not possible then i advise you come as a student and switch to work permit later . It’s easier to get job when you are already here

Your question seems to imply that it makes some significant difference in which institution you study. In reality it's not that significant. But since degree programs in healthcare, nursing, in higher education can include different specialization areas, they can be different and lead to different careers. I am not so sure, but practical nursing study programs at the vocational education level might also have similar differences. So the more relevant question would be, into what kind of more specific career you would like your studies to lead you. The decision, the direction, can be changed later, but it's good to have something as a goal even if you would change it later.

It's up to you to decide if you can afford to support their living in Finland or if they can adjust into a different culture and language requirements. There are financial and other challenges.

Educational institutions themselves do not directly. There are other organisations like student housing foundations, which exist to own and offer housing for students at sponsored rent. Public transport systems offer student discounts.

It depends on which study program you choose. Read the study programme descriptions. Depending on the subject matter, some study programs use only English. Some use a combination, as the program includes language studies in local official language to enable students later to use it in professional life, studies and elsewhere. They might start with using English and as students language skills improve, they will move using more Finnish or Swedish.

Scholarship doesn't mean the same as getting a study place in a full-time study programme. Scholarship is just support for studies, not the right to study. Visa is a permit to enter Finland and to stay for no longer than 90 days. It is attached to your passport in a Finnish embassy. Residence permit is a permit to enter Finland and to stay for longer periods. For full-time study programme students the permit includes a permit to work on average 30 hours a week over a year for income. This working may not prevent successful studies.

@@emo3443 So what I am getting wrong: 1) Scholarship is funding intended for studies or a reduction on tuition fees. It isn't a study place in a study program. 2) you ask, should you go for a visa or a resident permit. I assume you are asking here, if the relevant and required permit would be a visa (viisumi in Finnish) or a resident permit (oleskelulupa in Finnish). Scholarship suggests that the justification for these permits would be studies. Studies can be short courses or training, which takes less than 90 days. But mostly people are interested in degree or vocational study programmes taking much more time. Residence permit for studies is the immigrants permit category for enabling longer stay and also working part-time while studying. 3) The relevant information you didn't mention was the nature of the studies. How you fund it (scholarship ) isn't alone very relevant information in this context of your question. If it is, what is really the question you intended to ask?

@@emo3443 I'll suggest filling in more information making the context of your question about choosing between visa or residence permit more defined. Example: A student has an all expenses paid scholarship for attending a summer university course in Finland. It requires staying in Finland for 2 months. The student is from a country, which isn't part of Nordic countries or the Schengen area agreement. A permit is required for entering the country and staying there for these 2 months. A visa is the intended and suitable permit for this, Schengen area visa. It's a visiting permit by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and available through its missions around the world.
