Here is a quick walk-around of the new LED lights I got for my 926M Cat wheel loader. I am very happy with them and they make a huge difference at night.
The lights I got are:
Front Top
Qty 2 - 1010P4-4000 eLumens with Wide Symmetric lens (#CLD-479-1) - for the outside corner lights
Qty 2 - 1010P4-4000 eLumens with Medium Symmetric lens (#CLD-580-1) - for the inside lights
Back Top
Qty 2 - 1010P4-4000 eLumens with Wide Asymmetric lens (#CLD-482-1)

And gigantically blinding when a loader moves down the road as well. lol and thank you for addressing the road issue. I appreciate your courtesy!

You suffer from the same problem I am with my loader! I installed a bunch of awesome new LED lighting, and it makes plowing at night SO much better, It feels surreal with all the bright snow blowing around, like I'm plowing regolith on tranquility base on the surface of the moon! But.. the only place to mount the forward lighting is on the cab roof, or on extension posts, which are also mounted on the cab/body of the loader.. which unfortunately means I'm not ONLY lighting the ground ahead of me, but they also shine onto the bucket and snowpusher, and they're lit up like they're on the pitchers mound of Dodgers Stadium! At first I liked the fact that they were lit up, but I quickly realized that they become a distraction because they're so massive and they're so prominent in the foreground when looking out from the cab! When the equipment is lit up so well you don't get the benefit of having the ground in front of you so brightly lit as well! I wish there were a way to JUST light up the path in front of me, and not have any of that light land on the plow/bucket/pusher, but that would only be possible by installing the lighting forward/above the pusher, or mounting it directly into the bucket itself, which wouldn't be practical. And I hesitate to mount the forward lighting up higher, at least any higher than the top of the cab, because It'll be over height and take our awnings and overhangs etc! Too bad you can't bend the light around the bucket, that would be awesome. Hey NASA get to work on some super bright, high efficiency fiber optic solution or something. Lol.

You are just like me, owner operator, always kick my boots together summer or winter before I get in my equipment. If only my workers cared so much...

Sweet lighting upgrade ! Always nice when things are plug and play as with those connectors. I have only a few rigid leds on my plow truck and the difference is amazing. Lighting technology has really improved in the past few years. Maybe being diffused lenses, they reduce possible snow glare, if not maybe you could wear shades at night in the cab!😎 Haha kidding. Overall sick set up!! And hey, send a few flakes up our way... we are starving to death on the per push accounts! 😣

They are awesome lights! But they seem like they would be more blinding in a heavy snowstorm than helpful because of the light reflection off the flakes. How's your experience with them in storms so far?

Nice lights. I can't believe for the tens of thousands of dollars you spent for that loader Cat couldn't give you adequate lighting. I guess most people use the machine during the day but still.
