This is 12 years old and still the only vid that actually does a good ob of explaining this properly. Everything that has been produced since then is redundant.

I showed a 3 yr guy the top of the bucket that you can use it as a source of level to make sure your bucket is straight with the ground. He was shocked lol

Nice, but usually on jobsites there is too much clutter with trees, poles, fences, houses to be able to do something like that. Most areas are tight today.

You can thank the Father of Soil Mechanics, Karl Terzaghi, and modern-day Geotechnical Engineers for saving millions of lives from soil liquefaction. We are a dying breed and work on the most complex structures on any type of soil. You can name it all, from 1000 feet long dams, to 10 mile tunnels, to 100 feet basements, to foundations for 300 feet skyscrapers, to large fiber optic cable pipes on the seabed underwater connecting the internet across the Atlantic Ocean.

Very well done review!! Question I’m looking at buying a used 289D with all the same options with 1700 hours so how has this machine held up for you? And is there anything else I should know that you may have discovered after you made this video. Thanks again for your time and this video.
