If im not mistaken, fire has been depicted as a positive throughout the story. The torchbearer represents hope in contrast to vialism's heatless artificial fire. I could see the inferno being good

i can get overwhelmed at times by all of the lore and am not much of a theorist but love hearing how other people interpret and link ideas together and really like the way you present your thoughts visually.

I cannot articulate all the way, but I'm tracking with the sentiment of not wanting to burn Dema. I think there is a flagrant call for death with vitalism, and a big thread in all this is choice. I don't think it's black and white, but certainly that conviction you mentioned could be, "I don't want vitalism, but I'm also not ok with death to the people practicing it." imma think and rewatch tonight. keep making kick ass content dear one 💚

​@poptivist there's no amount of shallow grave [ie: level where you don't peel back any layers of lore] that I can peel off in my 80s Cadillac, & keep it moving, without knowing the last chapters.. especially when I have no idea how much Sai is going on the propaganda hint, or not [obviously few are clear 2b that or not, but almost impossible to be confident in greater detail than surface level & any patterns implied over multiple era's?¿].. But imo this will be the 3rd and climax of Tyler's 3 stages of storytelling - then whether it continues to 2nd 📖 in the lore [not unlike the illiad & odyssey of Greek mythology], that idk.. especially since I believe it was mostly written in total by time cover art of ST included so much that reveals only over time -- but fact he's kinda personally no longer between 2 places, but maybe found himself still fighting for all of us to evolve from the start we all shared.. but if he's not the person still searching, after finding peace in wife/ kids/ Josh/ and band that truly is home for the next 20k arena they fill, & not old after the 200 dates each era.. plus it scratches so many itches - artistic outlet, generational wealth, competitive urge to always be the best band - and still headline festivals in proving that 2 boys worked their way to top of bill, over any other band - and ocd in pursuit of perfect live show [from entire crew to call out losing their credential as part of it], still loves b-stage and jump off into crowd, climb poles, 🌳 drum 🥁 island, remix solo shows, live stream effort, create game, send USB/ letters to fans who match his own dedication, but not explain lyrics in detail to ruin meaning that each of us decipher individually and then come together to consume each tool & media, which is in addition to the music, the fact that he had only Josh to take this ride, and stage each night with the advances of all hard work put in - post being abandoned by the 2 he started band with.. the lessons Paul taught him, and now engineer and produce mostly all himself, but only after meany made his own mark on so much of trench, and the layers/ Lil details Tyler allowed him to create, but both the album and Tyler were more complete and more than comfortable to go remix with what he gleamed, and then make sure to do it himself before the tour ended [more location than the solo shows].. then listen to his mom to create an album that 🌎 needs atm, although my guess is that it was more a detour than the era he had in mind - but still weaved the story and excuses to stray from parts that play other part in last era.. and regardless of not close to my city, to play smaller venues and same city after covid, and then the icy tour, & replace festival headline for South America.. but he hasn't had to do most of the little things, for many years now, but maybe that's what makes them best band across 3 generations of people who have never been brought into same culture like we have [even if we don't all agree].. and there's actually more, but I'm going to end this with my own thoughts on how the bishops compass lies, but his is still true.. so if the west 🧱 is still blocked and east is supposed to be up, but then it's pointed 👉 in the name of DEMA on map [which not sure if has any meaning in lies in their compass?].. but I have always felt like the symbol of trench, above dema on 🏝, is a reference to the lyric where he talks about how to go straight thru, and not above/ below/ around - but it's dependent upon the shore they arrive on, but it kinda seemed like they were looking from their local under the bottom of map - from the last scene of video - but it's hard to tell for sure.. but I don't think it's gonna be as easy as to not cross whole island and then reach the end?? Anyway thanks again to everyone and Lua for sharing your thoughts and spark my own
