    AussieRC It is crazy how expensive it all is! I think in just Samix parts I've matched the original price of my TRX-4 Bronco! LOL And I'd guess I've matched the original price again with scale parts. Nutty! I got their knuckle, portal cover, hub carrier & rotor set, plus front bumper mount for the front already installed, and just arrived- knuckles, portal covers & rotors for the rear. Figured I'd weigh the front down a little more than the rear. Also bought some metal wheels from RC4WD Mickey Thompson but they don't fit. ☹️ I bought some MIP axle extensions and hub spacers. Hopefully that will give me the clearance and not cause other problems! 🤞

    In terms of weight in my opinion, it should be the opposite , the front bumper should have more weight, that is considering the body weight of the D110, so that could compensate the diference from the back to the front? Because of the excess on the back? and by the great Video👍👌

  • @burdon84

    I do agree mate, but when you think of how much brass I've already got up the front, it's nice to have a good chunk on the rear too help that with the downhill runs. If you run a basic lexan body on this truck without all the scale accessories etc that I've got, it'll damn near climb a tree haha

  • @burdon84

    @burdon84

    4 жыл бұрын

    You've called your channel scale crawling and your shopping why I'd want to add scale details to a crawler? Lol I added the scale stuff to make it look better, then the brass makes it perform better obviously, even with the stuff I added the truck performed way better with the upgrades, not to mention is pretty much bullet proof.. This truck has gone through a lot of torture just to show others that the parts from samix take a beating and to this day I've broken none of them. The truck now has a hard body raptor on it and performs even better than it did before. Samix are the real deal if you want to upgrade any truck from an original scx10 to the trx4's

  • @ScaleCrawling

    @ScaleCrawling

    I would love to have some of the Samix wheel axle upgrades, but I personally wouldn't add brass weights to the chassis as it raises the center of gravity. Too bad the Samix parts are so expensive. They are very nice indeed.
