Been juggling full time work, cleaning up the farm, tearing down my grandmas house, mowing 8 acres of grass, working on rehabbing my house and doing firewood when i have time. All rhis while dealing with a partially torn right meniscus.

Hot day my friend. I haven’t cut or split since this heat wave hit our area. Hope to as soon as it cools some. The house situation is meme very busy. I wear my shirt in memory of Chuck almost weekly. Miss that guy for sure. Take care Todd.

Yeah the tree was a biggin! If the bottom portion would have been good I would have gotten another full cord😂 This cherrry log might be saved for a mill . It’s nice. The fan worked well. Gotta do what ya gotta do to make this more enjoyable in the heat! Take care Brandon👊🏻

That is a great score Todd. Looks like you are starting to get some more free wood set up. You might want to get a metal detector so you can check the tree service wood for any metal.

Yes it was! This new bigger tree service said he didn’t bring me the bottom portion of the big oak because it had rot and metal in it! They check them for metal I guess! Yeah metal detector might not be a bad idea. Keeping from ruining a couple chains and it would pay for itself! Thanks Kevin👊🏻

I give you credit Todd, I didn't any splitting or cutting all week due to the heat. I did have 1 delivery and I did a little tractor work but that was it. Becareful out in this heat. Awesome wood score

One thing I’ve noticed about most of the firewood/tree cutter channels is everyone seems to be in great shape. And most seem to be around my age, 50 and up. There’s something to this job that makes me feel a lot younger than late 50 something. Work hard and smart.

Hello Jason! I have gotten three loads from the first tree service contact who is a small operation! This is the first drop from the new contact who is a lot bigger operation. I have a great setup so far with both companies. Hopefully it continues. Huge time saver! Thanks for watching 👊🏻

I do that same thing with my dump trailer but just leave the back gate closed with the bed up. It keeps feeding the logs to me and as the bed is up the top of the gates are just right for unloading to the splitter

It is in the 90's in Ohio. I have tried to do a small PU load every day but I come in soaked to the bone with sweat. I love to cut but the last week, it has been hard to go out. Your woodyard is the neatest i have seen. That red oak is going to make a lot of nice wood. How is Evan doing. It was a pleasure meeting him at the Hoosier. Nice young man.

Well, I just recently after three years started to work with Tree services. One guy is a small operation and he brings it to me on his trailer unless he is working real close and I actually go cut it up and load it on my trailer. The Tree Service you seen in this video with the green truck is a brand new contact. He has a big operation and he has a grapple that just lays the logs out in my yard. This was only like my fourth Tree Service score so I’m still new to it. It’s gonna save me a ton of time. Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻

@@toddsoutsideagain I have a tractor with forks so a truck bringing it to me would be very beneficial. A truck with a grapple would be amazing but any tree services I have dealt with for my own property didn’t have anything but trailers and manual labor. I would have to figure out what my process would be if I had to go to the site myself (that is when I might call my adult son and his friend for some help ;) ).
