5:23 very well said Jo. I did defenses before heroes, and went to th 10 with lvl 19 heroes. That's where I understood the true value of your heroes. I could only get the heroes to lvl 35 before th 11 and i finally maxed them out last week. Take Jo's word for it.... Concentrate on heroes at th 9

It all depends on how u play.... I did exactly same like u that is I came to th10 with 20 level heros but seriously speaking rushing helped me a lot as there is a loot system in COC..The one with higher town hall have high loot value then the lower one...I think it's better if one can rush to th13 and start maxing cuz it's more beneficial but definitely u have to ignore others who are yelling at u... Just focus that u want to be a max th13 so I am ready to grind.. I believe this is the most fastest way to max. And also make sure u play builder base regularly for the 6 th builder. Currently I have a th13 with lev75 queen lev54 king lev 42 warden and lev15 rc in all most like 10 months of non-stop grind and with a small investment of 2 gold passes in my mid-way. I am still continuing my farm and would reach max th13 faster than most of my friends who are still maxing th11. It all depends on how u play..

When I look for bases If I look at 20 bases only 3 of them would actually have decent heroes I pass several SEVERAL th11 with th30 heroes and there base is allow maxed out same with th9,10 😹

@@litmodz4826 ya sadly everyone can't dedicate time that I put in during these lockdown days..I was farming with beast mode on and after self-analysis I got to the point if u are a casual player u should definitely max and work on war attacks on each town hall level but if rushed and still ur heros are awake everytime then that's worthless..😂 Hero's have a great role to play which I agree with u

i started my new coc account for about 3 or 4 months ago... now im th9 and still upgrading my buildings... this video has helped me what to prioritize. thanks! and the clan i am in rn is the old local clan that my mom and her friends have been on for years, we dont do clan wars anymore since majority of our members dont play the game anymore due to the boredom or it. tho playing it on my own and having access to my moms th 12 base with high level troops for my clan castle is a big help for my own bases development.

When I reached TH8, I started a new account to progress as quickly through the game as possible, get the 5 builders quickly, without rushing by using my past experience and correcting all the mistakes I made along the way on my first account. Now my main base is a max TH9 and the second account is a completely Max TH8 and will be a TH9 today evening. It shows me how much time I wasted in my first account. I am so excited to try out his techniques for new TH9s in that account. BTW I totally agree with him about the upgrade priority of offences and heroes first. I learnt it the hard way. I upgraded all my defenses to max on my main account but my heroes are only lvl 26(AQ) and 23(BK)

Currently going through th9 with my 5 builders allotted like this. 2 on heroes, nonstop except for cwl 2 on buildings nonstop 1 on traps/resource buildings B/c the builder on traps/resource building never has an upgrade go more than a day, you can use that time to empty storages into walls.

I'place 2 on heroes, I agree on that, but one on offensive buildings (camps, barracks, factories, etc) and one on defenses if you want, then the last is a good idea to make him short upgrades to dump the excess loot

WOW! I got to TH9 3 weeks ago after not playing in 8 months. Had a max 8 and I’ve been GRINDING following exactly what you did in your f2p series. I maxed my king as soon as I upgraded to th 8, due from the event and having a bunch of stored up dark elixir, it was pretty fast

Hi JO!❤ I am a TH9 but I rushed it from Max TH7 cause I upgraded to th8 and I used to watch your TH11 free to play series and you said a lot about Hero upgrades (grinding).So I maxed my king in no time and I had no where to dump my DE except lab. But you also said upgrade your offense before your defense in that TH11 series, so I maxed my cc, my camps and my barracks. So I had no place to dump Elixer as well except lab. So I had either Elixer left or DE left cause I could use only 1 resource in lab and rest just sits there getting wasted Also I am a farmer however very good with war too but I just can't stand loot being wasted so I had to upgrade to TH9. Have stopped rushing now and focusing on the hero's again along with offence again. Just wanted to know if I could join your clan New Clan. Also now get that the TH11 series is a different thing and there is a lot of hero level unlike th8 and that is where I got it all wrong

I'm made the early defence mistake but with walls. But I just maxed them all out, everything except 5 lab levels for troops I don't use often, and my heroes are both on level 25. I intend to get those lab levels as soon as possible, and the miners will seriously help my heroes get those missing 5 levels easily. So I moved on to th10. I will get there in 5 days. Happy New Year, guys!

Just came back to the game after 1-2 years and I would've loved to be aware of the Heroes thing. I have all maxed minus the Heroes (both at lvl 20), great video.

I also have a fully max th8 ready to be upgraded but I will upgrade it next month till that I will increase war stars

I’m a th9, and I am defiantly going to recommend that you defiantly upgrade your spell factory. It is worth it jump spells and freeze spells are the most useful spells at th9.

The way I view going for offensive first is using a stronger army to recover loot lost in attacks on your base, I understand defense is a good idea but, because you will be attacked by town hall 10s and maxed town hall 9s you will not be able to recover much loot lost, anyways that’s my rant that is basically agreeing with Kenny jo

He has been very clear on this several times at this point. The th12 series is coming in a few weeks. The amount of time it takes to upgrade your building at th12 is seriously long so it´s only natural to start a new series alongside the other to help out lower the levels too.
