it took me 1 year to get the builder. so a long time i am completly free to play and my clan sucks so clan games arent value at most i get 3rd tier loot. war leage sucks for us as well. so it has been a grind with out books of hearos and rune of builder elixir it was hard and finaly i did it!

Wow. The last time I was this early Clash of Clans still had global chat.

I finally have a "back in my day" thing for CoC. Instant training makes BB sooo much more tolerable. Nothing was worse than trying to squeeze in your attacks during a clock tower boost only to have to sit there and watch some jerk-a-saurus rex drop sneaky archers one at a time. 😠

And the clocktower boost was only like 5 minutes! Sitting there watching a sneaky archer eat up the entire clock was so painful. The instant training was a game changer.

I unlocked the 6th builder last week. I’m a new th11 and it took me about 4 months to achieve the 6th builder. The grind to unlock was brutal and whoever is trying to unlock stay focused!

I know this grind is tough but I’m about 5 days from the sixth builder battle machine going to 29 and then I have a book for 30 so excited this grind has taken me 4 also

11:44 I stopped counting cuz the upgrading of all those things + counting time for the upgrades +school work was just too much madness for me . But my biggest help was the rune of builder elexier that i got from the clan games that helped me kick off about 11 days as that was about the time it took me to collect the elexier for the upgrading of the battle machine to lvl 30 . In order to burn up my anger I make the master builder run around the builder village by moving the builder hall from one corner of the base to the other 😂

Lol, i was like focusing on maxing out the builders house, but when you said it would took years i will just give up. Now i understand why i find so many rushed bases.

I'd say focus on the Battle Machine at first until it's level 5, as the ability is very useful, but don't upgrade further until your cannon cart is maxed because of the diminishing returns.

a little extra tip on the otto tasks, you DON´T need to do them in the order they are shown, you can do them however you like, also, by maxing out collectors at bh9 you get 286k resources a day just from that, and speaking of the collectors they ALWAYS for ALL BH levels take 24hs fill completely asuming you don´t speed them up with the clock tower in which case they´d take less time to fill up. take this advice and use it however you see fit

Getting the Battle Machine to Level 5 (Hammer Ability) before the carts push from 10-18 seemed quite nice to me. Let him last significantly longer in battles for the gold/elixir push.

I used all these tricks without looking at any tutorial. I have BM 27 now and I'm glad this is finally coming to its end. I rejoined the game 5 month ago with a builder base 5 max. My only mistake is that I started paying attention to the mega Tesla quite late, I'll put its last level upgrade tomorrow.

Once I found out about the 6th builder and started focusing on it, it took about 5 months. I had actually started gearing buildings without realizing they were a task so I was a little ahead in that regard. And I also get the gold pass.

Finally completed my 6th builder 3 days ago! I absolutely dreaded my attacks without the battle machine, usually took me twice as long on those days for my 3 wins. Glad I buy the battle pass as all those runes of builder elixir help so much. I’m about midway through th11. Now I’m considering doing it on my rushed th13 (following along with your rushed base series as well). Way behind you on that base though haha

Swung the hammer on battle machine yesterday and took it to level 30!!! 6th builder was one of the most exciting COC moments for me tbh

Thanks for the guide! Finally got the 6th builder and it did take a couple months even with gold pass. As for the hammer trick, I was able to upgrade the Tesla with lvl8 gold storages because of the discount. So hammer is not a must but holding off lvl9 gold storages definitely helps. So in summary -Dont upgrade barrack after lvl 7 -upgrade clock tower and star laboratory -Upgrade elixir storage to max -Only upgrade gold storage to lvl 8 -use book of building on gearing up mortar -just upgrade battle machine to lvl 5 and focus on cannon cart -finally, keep on switching between mega tesla and battle machine

JO great video!! I definitely wish I had this guide back in July when I found out about the 6th builder haha. All good though, the end is near! My Otto hut is at level 4 with my BM currently going to 21! I hope to have the 6th builder when I move to TH11 on new years!

Congratulations on getting the 6th builder Jo! It is really one of the hardest things to do in this game. I will be getting the builder in about 10 days which makes me really excited!

This has finally convinced me to rush my Builder Base. It is so hard to max out BH levels one at a time because there is no way to get enough loot, so I'd be sitting doing nothing until I had ove 1M loot to upgrade ONE thing before waiting again.

Yea I buy the season pass ever since I became th10 but I think I focused all of my time at th10 which was like 4-5 months on getting that 6th builder. It really just takes months of dedicating a crap ton of resources to a very small pool of items and buildings, great video and I love how you emphasized that decipline

I just unlocked the Otto yesterday! It took me more than 2 months to complete the tasks. I used to maxed everything up until bh6 then I realized that i need the second builder in order to built faster. Then I started rushing everything up. Thankfully i already been upgrading my cannon cart and geared up all three buildings. The hardest part was upgrading the hero and tesla and of course collecting loots like duhhh we only get three attacks per day. Wtf.

Phenomenal video Jo. You’re really setting the gold standard for all other KZreadrs to aspire to. Keep up the fantastic work.

This video has made me rush my builderhall and i completely agree with what jo says you have to be disciplined to get your otto upgraded soon i have geared up my mortar. My mega tesla is 4 now hoping to get the builder soon

I actually just found this video but I made the self discovery of the BB rush about a year ago when I realized how much quicker things would be with the master builder. Unfortunately my dedication was lacking so I’m only about half way there but there were definitely some good tips in this one for me to shave off a little time, for example the book of building on the mortar gear up

jo isn't too over the top with his personality and is realistic and approaches it in a way that is down to earth and helps the player understand what he's explaining better. his old clash attack videos were probably the best attack videos ever and he's never failed to impress with how good his content is

I think it’s a good idea to upgrade all defences to level 3 ish because that’s when defence dps increases are the best value for money. Just means you’re gonna win a bunch more battles and then get more loot as you do the rest of it.

Do get lv 5 battle machine tho, it makes battles way easier, without it you kinda get stuck in a trap where you can't progress.

Another quick tip: save your wall rings for the builder base. They are way harder to upgrade than the regular base walls, and have way more of an impact. I'd also suggest doing all the minor defense upgrades, I.e. everything on at least level 3 or 4. It doesn't take long at all, and definitely helps push your trophy range and therefore daily loot (better farming). Final tip, it's good to have your barracks and lab maxed early if you can, as you can take advantage of power potions to do some insane attacks (time your daily BB attacks for when you're using a power potion for clan war in your regular base).

@@AbilShey The best value is going from level 6 to 7 and above. It's not very efficient from a gold-to-ring ratio any lower than that.

I don't know why but whenever I win Builder Base match, I almost always see my opponent used Night Witches, they always get destroyed by Lava launcher, even though their Battle Machine are much higher level than mine

I strongly recommend that you take this advice if you want to obtain that 6th builder. This is the way I´ve done it now 3 times. (number 4 to 7 still in progress).

Man I’m fuckin dying in gettin it in my only account! It feels like it never happens! The main problem is my BM which is level 12, mega tesla is 7, mortar and others are geared up and cannon is upgrading to 16 rn! But the battle machine… Can you tell me how long exactly took you to upgrade BM to 30?

I actually prefer maxing baby drags asap. Idk if its fully optimal but it has 2 very large advantages over the cannon strats. A: works very well wo battle machine B: stronger strat wo supporting cast of giants and wbs therefore giving it big effeciency bonuses Again idk if its technically more efficient but its not far off and its much easier with higher trophy cap and less fails

I just put down my battle machine to lvl23 man it's super hard to grind that much elixer . Love your videos

I started a new f2p too, in bh 3 trying to max the archers, then baby dragons, then cannon cart and most importantly the hero and some defenses

I went with the approach of maxing giants and cannon carts so I could go higher in trophies and get more loot every day

Jo I began rushing my BH when you released your last video 3 months ago. I used all your tips and now I'm 3 battle machine levels away from the 6th builder. I will add one thing. If my gold and elixir storages are both almost full, I'd spend a little gold on walls and then start upgrading the battle machine. This way the gold you get while the BM is upgrading won't go to waste. I like having every level of wall on my base, that way it gives me options on how much gold to spend. If I was waiting to collect elixir for my next BM upgrade, and my mega tesla was maxed, I'd spend gold on either lava launcher or giant cannon because they're expensive on gold but short upgrade times at the lower levels. It's about managing resources so you don't waste your precious daily loot. Thanks for your help!

If you don't get as much hammers as jo don't bother... The lab time for each th is considerably more than the max time. That's means the 6 th builder will just increase your frustration. Also after having a max th13 I realised that upgrading is the game not maxing out. It gets boring after you max out enjoy the hustle. I don't log in my th13 I just play a th11 f2p.
