Can cleanly hear him over the music. I'll be honest. I'd rather not have the background music in an informational video, j.s and with that, I agree!

Information > background music.

Downside to the focus cap, it throws shade for the on-board illuminator. I ended up using my light on my helmet more for true light than the IR illuminator

appreciate you doing this video as I'm getting into it for the 1st time. What mount would you suggest for a skull crusher and or a boonie hat?

If you are looking for a boonie hat mod. You have to go with tracer tactical. Check them out on instagram.

It says the push button battery pack dont come with the o ring or screws. Were do u get them

Thanks for the information! I have a standard Rhino mount and i do want to buy the better J arm you mentioned. Where can i buy the adapter for the Rhino mount? When replacing the shoe?

Any dovetail style mount would work. The least expensive and best overall would be a rhino II mount with a dovetail upgrade

I get some shadow from the adjustable iris when my pvs14 ir is on

It does block the onboard ir illuminator a touch. That said, in my opinion you really shouldn’t be using the ir on the pvs14 in a tactical setting. It’s not strong enough to offer any help outdoors.

@code4defense745 it's not terrible. Just slightly. I agree, using the built-in IR doesn't really help outside. The benefit of the focus outweighs the slight shadow when using it indoors with the IR.

I also have a shadow. I barely ever have to use it anyway.
