In this video, we'll look at the background, philosophy, and development of the offense run by the new offensive coordinator for the TCU football program: Kendal Briles. We'll look at the offense that he ran with the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2022 under Head Coach Sam Pittman, we'll see how it developed out of the Baylor "Veer and Shoot" created by his father, Art Briles, and how it continued to pick up new pieces during runs with Lane Kiffin at Florida Atlantic, Major Applewhite at Houston, and Willie Taggart with the Florida State Seminoles. Finally, we'll consider the question "Which of these is the real Kendal Briles offense?" as we try to figure out what it might look like with Sonny Dykes and the TCU Horned Frogs football program. Schematically, we'll look at Briles' use of Deep Choice passing concepts, the QB run game, motion, wide splits, Bash run plays, midline options, and more.

I love these videos man
Great vid you gonna do a vid on Sean Lewis CU buffalos new OC
So far in spring camp the TCU offense has been running very fast tempo. I think we are in line to see a TCU offense very similar to the one we saw with Briles in Houston. The tempo is undoubtedly there and chandler morris will do his best to be a similar threat to D’eriq King. However I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a little less QB run and a little more downfield passing. Regardless the TCU offense will look much more like the baylor and UH offenses rather than the Arkansas one.
lets go!!!!
how about an analysis of the tommy reese offense at notre dame, with attention re possibilities for alabama
Hey have you looked at Kane Wommack?
Great content. Can you breakdown Ryan Grubb?

I really should, I've gotten some requests for the UW offense already, and I love a chance to get into the Tedford coaching tree a little bit too. Right now I'm using this Arkansas breakdown to get a jump on some other stuff (Fickell, Saban, and then from them to Leach and maybe Malzahn), but then I could hit a pod of West Coast teams.

Do you know how active the online communities are in the northwest? My Oregon videos never do that well, and USC's been hit-or-miss, so that's the main reason I haven't done more PAC-12.

@@TheCoordinatorProject DeBoer and Grubb’s offense has a ton of formation and motion material to breakdown. It’s more about scheming match ups than concepts that make them unique

For sure. I was just watching some old Big-10 film for my Fickell video and thinking it'd be fun to talk about something other than spread-based RPO's all the time. I went to Cal when Tedford was tearing it up with Rodgers, Lynch, and Jackson, and that's what made me want to do this kind of analysis way back when. Lots of love for that coaching tree!

I posted this on another UW request, but here it is to make sure that you get it, too! @@TheCoordinatorProject No I’m not sure about the northwest but I do know they have some die hard fans.I’m from California and I know some guys who played for teddy and debeor. But I try to watch everything you put out you do some great work and it’s seems spot on and more in depth than some of the stuff I’m able to research on my own. But keep up the great work and whatever you put out I’ll definitely be checking it out
