The video was a good guide and helped with my own installation, but like me, others may need to search a little more for other missing info. Just installed this on my 2023 m3 standard range. Compared to the m3 in the video, 2023 m3s had 7-10mm bolts on the frunk, in which 2 are covered by the latch cover. In addition, the headlight connector is covered/protected by the steel body frame, where a small flathead screwdriver helped out a lot. Also the fog lights uses 25mm torx and not 30mm. It's now shown in the video but the driver side installation is much more difficult to do than the passenger side. Lastly, if you have the standard fog lights, i suggest you keep them and pass on this aftermarket item. This product is only a good upgrade if your m3, does not have fog lights. Good luck on your install.

@SivaSaptkota Another great video! I think it's really cool looking, my only concern would be the fact that you pointed out how bright it is. Often fog lights are at a certain intensity, and even color to stop from having a white light reflect back in your face against the fog. I get the idea of moving the light lower to be under, the fog, but depending on where you live, that rarely happens and an intense fog, I worry that this could be too bright. Have you left it in your car? And have you experienced this in super foggy conditions yet?

Hi Shiva, I plan to install a wifi front bumper camera which I will access using my phone. Is it a good idea to splice the fog light harness to power the camera? Do you know where I can purchase the splice kit? The camera can be powered by the 12v battery but I don't want to keep draining the battery by connecting it directly to the battery terminals. Thanks

I haven't seen any headlight splice kits yet. Even if they had it, I believe the power is only activated when the headlight is activated. You can however pass the wire through the firewall and use a Y connector that they make to plug into the A-pillar that has 12V. I have spliced that 12V plug for other purposes.

These look great but the issue is you lose rhe amber side redlector from the original light that alerts incoming cross traffic specilaly at night. Federal DOT states that all cars must have amber reflectors on both sides of the front of the car. They must be visible from the front and sides. I wish they would put a reflector on the edge just like the original so it meets regulation and maintain safety.

Depends on the model style fog you get. It only comes with two wires into the harness from the unit. Some have a third wire cut that you need to splice into and connect. That’s what the manufacturer told me. The item description states DRL capability but they lied. Also some model Y if you are updated software is 2023.32.4 or higher, that harness may not work. Didn’t on mine. Waste of time and money. I had to still splice into turn signal.
