There are a lot of 35 day focuses compared with other DLC like walking the tiger or together for the victory

​@@desran4447you are not supposed to finish the whole tree. You only focus in one ideological path, and then you pick if you want to industrialize the country and what army force you want to specialize and develop. Many tree give you poweful bonuses and if you short them, by 1939 you would have already win the game by how easy is to out maneuver the AI. If there wasnt any shortcomings in time and constraints to the player attention and focus, you would be erasing one piller for the "strategic" inside the game.

Weird thing about the new widths, 20 widths is actually still valuable, no matter in mountains, plains jungle desert or forests, they are still strong. Someone made a chart list of what widths is better for every battlefield and 15 widths got no debuffs, 20 widths is still the balance approach and 35 widths is good for plains deserts and hills.

yeah, I personally think that tank divisions is smart to make 35 widths. Meanwhile Infrantry is smart to make 30 widhts, altought infrantry that you want to hold the frontline is smart to be 15 or 20 widths.

i use inf + engineer for port guard, i never have my "defensive" divisions on a front line like a lot of ppl do. @@MatiasA.-nk9kr

Paradox needs a timeline for designing focus trees. Especially the alt history ones. Something like, first conquest focuses should be achievable in 1938 if bee-lined. Should be politically stable by 1939 if bee-lined. Should have X number of factories based on number of territories if industry focusing... Tired of seeing focus trees (again specifically alt history) were you start playing the game in 1942....

the issue isn't that you start playing the game in 1942, but that every other country has already finished playing by the time you are ready to start. it's like arriving at a party late, it sucks

I was so confused on how to get the magic school bus achievement until I saw you could paradrop it. I made a level 5 railroad the entire way and made multiple routes to get there the fastest and it still would’ve taken 30 days minimum. It still took a while to get the proper transports and airports in place, but after that it was smooth sailing

I’ve got to agree with Tommy here, playing unaligned/fascist-anti-German Sweden it takes twice as as long as it should to unite the Nordics. If you go that route, you don’t have enough time to either intervene in Finland or modernize your army by the time you’re in WWII

New dlc but issues lmfao. Spending the whole game rushing to unite your area with focuses at the end of your tree is not good design. Max should take two years if you rush so 38 to early 39 still coring them

i feel like they did finland and denmark justice. They seem very fleshed out, and the formables are unique and a very nice addition to the game besides the typical scandinavia. Norway is ok i feel, but fascist path leaves a lot to be desired. Sweden has the most boring and underpowered focus tree ive seen.
