Good idea! I didn’t think of using them on staircases.

Just found your channel. My work room is my bedroom. Too many people in the house to have a separate place. I thought about the garage but in the winter is just too damp and cold. in the summer it can be 5° F. hotter there than outside. I've got carpal tunnel & a touch of arthritis and sometimes my hands just can't or don't want to even try to paint anything. And some days I'm just tired. I just don't want to do anything. 67. Was almost exclusively a hex and counter guy but since the new year I've gone deep into miniatures. Fist Full of Lead skirmish rules. Couldn't get my old Ral Patha figures painted fast enough. Said never ever Napoleonics. Got four boxes of infantry to assemble. I have gotten my Prussian officers assembled & primed. Got a 4x6 ft space to play on. I've got another little table that I can place a board on it so I can play a small 5 on 5 skirmish game. Yesterday 15mm cowboys. Subbed

So glad to see this taking off good sir.

Well Dave I had this project in mind for this weekend, so needed to move an old bed that was just taking up space for nothing and being on my own, went about it the wrong way and for my trouble have now ripped the muscles in my lower back - bloody agony it is just lying and moving in bed. But good news is my neighbour who saw the bed and thought it would be good for his kid in future years, helped me disassemble it and now it resides in his area - whoopee !! Now where did I put them pain killers as my body needs a refill?

Alright man, I just wanted to drop a comment to say that the stuff you're putting on here is absolutely bang on. Such fun, laid back videos that actually make me want to get painting, but so bloody we'll put together. Just chapeau. I'm off to join your Patreon.

Congrats and nice work on the studio! It was nice to see nibbly nubbly bits on your computer screen good to see the British empire supporting one another. Have you looked into bee pollen? I have a relative that swears by it and has MS he estimates saved him from going into a wheelchair by about 10 years. There is a lot of research in reference to Ms and be pollen if you're interested.

Hi Dave just wanted to say how much your channel has helped me. I've had crohn's for many years but last year collapsed at work and turns out I had to have my gallbladder out as was swollen and ready to fook me up. The long and short of it is I have a nasty liver disease (PSC) which will need to be swapped out within the next few years but I suffer extreme fatigue now so just getting out of bed some days is hard. But watching how you deal with your MS makes building terrain and painting miniatures for my son is worth it even if it take a hell of a lot longer for each project. So I I just wanted to say thanks as what you do makes a difference.

I feel you man, sometimes you just gotta go with the flow when your body ain’t playing ball, but I’m glad you’re staying motivated through your kid and the shared hobby. @@MSPaints I think there's still at least one still in operation in Scotland too. Not the same one that 10 year old me snagged a Kenner series one Lt Ripley in for a couple of quid two and a half decades ago, but up in the frozen north, the franchise refuses to die. Still got that same high ceiling, bare concrete floor and cheap enamelled metal shelves vibe. It's not a nice look, but it sure is timeless.

I always love seeing artists' workshops! Fantastic job! Sorry to hear about your MS, and I totally get it. I have Fibromyalgia, and it's a bitch to work around. Keep it up; I love watching your videos. Cheers!

Duuuude! If that shop in Whitby is the same one I'm thinking of, then I visited every time I go Draculaland! Belle Vue Terrace that turns into Skinner Street near Rusty Shears café? Always used to go down in her dungeon to see what absolute weirdness was stored down there. It was an important part of every holiday there and I'm sad it finally closed down a couple of years ago. Great video again, love sniffing up that delicious nostalgia. Shout out to the insect running across the handle of your wooden tool carrier. If you're going to make Tau stuff I seriously recommend getting hold more recent, smooth looking fire alarms. Tau written all over them.

Fire alarms! Noted. Yeah it was weird down there for sure. Apparently when outpost 31 took the place over it was a total wreck and she’d left her personal stuff- including mouldy plates and trash hahaha. Which is a bit depressing… but I kinda expected that to be the case.

I wish I had a basement room I could utilize but living in a skyscraper, that is not possible and my cellar is full of junk transferred from my flat, so like you I have found interesting models from way back in time and not only GW's , actual models I was given or bought and talking of paint I have two full Vallejo carrier boxes full of paints unused or opened as yet. Think I need to find a better hobby that involves brain connection and not simply plastic models that lie in trays and boxes for some later date - maybe art creation as I have blank walls could use a tarting up with Wolves, as they are my totem animal. Hi Dave - recently found your channel and love it. Just to help my understanding of your condition - how does MS affect your painting? Does it impair your dexterity? My gran suffered from MS for nearly 50 years, although I remember it mainly affecting her walking, and flared on & off. Also I'm sure I heard once that male sufferers tend to suffer from more acute symptoms? Is that true? My best, Aaron

Hi Aaron. Mostly gives me shakes in my Right arm, loss of vision to a degree in my right eye, fatigue, brain fog (which is somewhere between depression and amnesia) and migraines. Generally I’d say I got off lightly!

Hasbro force awakens version! Cast from the original 70s model I’m told, and it’s the closest to legion scale while keeping the proportions. And it weights nooooooothing. Happy days!

Have you thought about terrain making? Good for the souls, let the materials do the work, no paint brushes.

My doc said I had Fibro. I cannot stand (nigh literally) in high heat. I cannot use my art studio because it is on the top floor of my house. I have been having to crash my husband's studio in the basement because uuuuughhhhhhHHHHH even at 73°F on the AC it is 80°F+ in my studio. I thought I was just a pansy or something because high heat like that just makes me feel AWFUL. Nigh flu-like. And my joints feel like they are made of Nuln Oil and sand... But nope, it turns out that it may be part of the Fibro. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
