PSUs in high price could be dangerous.... the chances of price appreciation is very less... so they should be buy in correction or avoid kind of shares.. in my opinion

This JV was done back in Feb 2020. It is not a new development. I think large institutes may have already priced it in the current prices of the company. But it is surely an interesting development and we should keep an eye on further progress in this area.

Battery swapping might work if it is implemented the way NIO is doing it in China. Ok, NIO is a car company primarily but IOC can tie up with a bigger automotive player and setup a battery swap station across India with its wide spread network. Might be a good bet !

Rather than battery , focus on charging stations......all oil PSUs and Reliance has fuel stations across india......they could use it as charging stations or battery replacement stations......battery charging is not simple.....in US iyself it takes more than 6 hours to charge battery

EV segment is evolving, we never know new upcoming technologies in next 10 years.....advantage of AI-air battery is comparatively less replacement time...same as that if refuelling fuel tank......higly recyclable and reusable to almost 90% against li-ion baatery of 45%....if electronic waste pollution is strict then Alair are the best options

Battery fitted in electric car is Costliest part of the EV car & Is fitted in Floor board due to it's size... So not possible to replace with substitute battery at stations....

Blue sky. Would you prefer using AA batteries for mobile phone that you need to buy every 3 days as compared to Li rechargeable. That's how cumbersome this concept is. Instead of IOCL I would rather bet on NTPC.

Refill is equivalent to recharge. You don't change cylinder every time when you refill

how are lithium ion batteries better to Al batteries ? LiIon batteries take many hours to charge... who can afford that kind of time while travelling. Al batteries can be releaced on the go.. they will come out with a standard program where batteries are replacable at every petrol pump of IOC. Getting Oil filled in your tank takes 5-10 minutes. Battery changing also takes 5-10 minutes...Lithium Ion batteries can never match that comfort zone which we all are in.
