What a beautiful lineup. Wish Mike could muscle up one more Steps album or a tour with these same guys again. Mikes not been active in past few years getting up in his mid 80s. He is a legend himself as well as the Steps bands and lineups from Brecker to Evans, to Gomez to Bailey, Bona, Stern, Khan, Grolnic... just so many greats involved with this legendary band.

Richard Bona is not only a great bass-player but also a wonderful singer.

Steve Smith is an incrdible propeller... with a twist here an there. Great, great drummer.

Michael Brecker... will be missed

To love Michael is one thing, to admire him is something else, to love him is to make him infinitely great and unforgettable, which is true, I feel him in me as a comunion, he spoke to me as being one of the most great figure of cotemporain jazz, it is so wonderful, it still arouses today so much vocation, one simply likes it, that Randi is proud of his brother. I absolutely love Mr. Michael Brecker it is unforgettable. It's the best, the biggest, I'm sad to know that he's gone to another place that I do not like when we're too young to go see the end door. I love him infinitely, I am a little, but am a human being and he would have loved me I am sure and certain. Thanks to you Michael, peace and love in your heart and your life that your death is beautiful to you and that it allows you to be the happiest man in the world, when I listen to you like at this moment, I am convinced of your great humanity and your enormous desire to be a loving man, I love you deeply.

That was really beautiful what you said. Michael Brecker was a true musical treasure and a humble gentleman as well.

All the credit and respect to the whole band!!! tremendous to be on that stage you need courage!! Bill Evans,Mike Stern, Richard Bona,Steve Smith,Mike Menerie,!!!

Its wield to hear these d rummers who strive to become better. Some times i like their sound better before they “improved” . Maybe its just my unrefined pallet🤔 just steak or lobster really i love both. I think i like the stank is all just not so literal. But just mho

Anyone out there who knows whether or not MIKE M. ever got a chance to meet LIONEL HAMPTON?

Mike should still be using the synth with the vibes, imo, that was a cool sound, maybe some new modern patches, etc.

It's Beirut, from the album 'Magnetic'. Make sure to check out the version with Brecker on EWI from 'Live in Tokyo'. It's awesome!

Dragging...?! I do NOT agree! Steve is a great drummer, swinging and keeping everything in place...

No bass till 2:45? Been there, sound engineers should get docked pay for screw ups, then I guarantee we'd all sound great all the time.

Bona on the money. Not really so with Mainieri and Smith in the forst tune. Maybe the monitors but saved by Evans and Stern in the end

NOT SHORT OF MASTERS IN THIS VERSION OF STEPS!!! ....as of any version of Steps is short on Masters!!

Bill Evans en lugar de MB?, habiendo tantos saxofonistas y tan buenos eligieron a este músico que parece karate kid. Supongo que obedece a una cuestión de mercado, sabemos que el principal consumidor de esta música es el publico japonés, para eso lo hubieran reemplazado con kenny G que es mas carismático.
