It really is an amazing Proton Pack, kudos to Spirit Halloween for listening to the fan base. I bought one as soon as I learned they were scaling up the original one (which I’ve rocked for a couple of years). Even though I already have the HasLab Replica, I couldn’t pass up on a $200 (after promo code) life size pack!

The upside down sticker on the wand is screen accurate for the Venkman hero pack

I have this and for the $, this is worth it. And if you plan on wearing a pack for a long period of time, this is the one for you. The Haslab one makes a great piece to admire and enjoy, not to wear for a long period of time. This one you can wear all day and not break your back

hah, and the haslab is only like 15 lbs. I've done 6 hour days wearing a pack literally 3x that weight, as have dozens of other ghostbusters. These toys are really spoiling people lol, you used to have to spend $2000 on a 50 lb pack to make it look legit. I'm definitely not jealous

It's crazy how every year or so Spirit seems to do upgrading to their proton pack line. I picked up one of the models from 2018 and it's neat but the wand doesn't hold on too well and the pack only lights up when blasting with no standby mode. The straps aren't too great either tbh, but for what it is and the lower price it's fun. This one however being larger and seemingly more accurate may give me enough reason to upgrade and as it is my current pack belongs more to my daughter right now anyway 😂.

When we we're kids we our heads would've popped if something like this was available

True story.

I completely modded mine. I cut off the booster and the frame and lowered that area and put an actual tube and better frame. I then cut off the cyclotron and bumper and made it out if Eva foam. So much can be done to these. I made mine GB1

Nice, yeah I might do something similar to mine. But I have 3d printer so I might use that to update it to a more accurate GB1 pack

Haslab pack was $399 and the wand is $131 Only complaint I have with the haslab is the power down feature on the pack and wand.

I think yours came with the straps connected upside down . The padding should be on your shoulders. Great video

I was looking to buy some modifications for my Spirit Halloween Life Size pack and noticed people selling mods for what they are calling the Full Size pack. Is Life Size and Full Size the same pack or is there a difference?

yeah thats generally the same thing. what they are selling might have been made for a custom pack, haslab or spirit, but most of it should be compatible with each other. And at the end of the day, this is your pack... so you can do what you want with it

Mine is currently sitting on the haslabs stand. But the haslabs is hanging on a guitar hook because I have the Alice frame on it. but if you want it on the floor or standing on something I imagine a regular guitar stand should work fine. They're both rounded at the bottom. But I'm sure there's several 3d print options out there too. Look for Haslabs pack stands

Are these still available on the US. I do t think the y ever came to the uk

Depends really. The Haslabs has a better build and attention to details. in fact, the new ghostbusters movie uses haslabs packs! But it is the afterlife pack, the spirit is the 1984 pack-ish* and the spirit pack is less than half, plus still available for purchase. The spirit pack is great though. In fact, in the new netflix show the 3 body problem, one of the rich characters has a collection of prop replica and memoralibilia and it's a spirit pack

so that it powers up the spirit pack? Not sure if I have seen that. Your best bet would be to join the spirit pack Facebook group or something and talk with some people there. I am sure it's possible, it's just a matter or getting one to send start/stop signal to the other...

I completely modded my Haslab pack to an '84 pack. Real Spectra ribbon cable, real brass Clippard fittings, real elbows, replaced all of the hoses with real ones, complete repaint, added an LC-1 A.L.I.C.E. frame, and also did the always on mod. And I am very happy with my officially licensed nuclear accelerator. But this is great for those on a budget.

In one of the planet Hollywood packs that where displayed back in the day, one had that sticker upside down , I think it was Dan’s pack or Harold’s so technically it’s movie accurate lol

Not really. It's just under 8 lbs (7 lbs and 10 ounces) So if you're using it for costume or cosplay it's great

Do not order from Spirt. I ordered one on 8-6-23 and a week later had to call to even get the order processed. The charged me and created a shipping label, but 3 more days later Fedex does not have the package and when I called again they couldn’t tell me what is going on and that I could call back in 2 more business days if it doesn’t start tracking. I’m afraid I’m going to end up having to dispute the charge with my bank. Even if I eventually get mine I will NEVER purchase from Spirit again. Buyer beware!

I have nothing bad to say about it really, it's great. And at a glance, sometimes at a glance I can't tell the difference between thr haslabs. It's the best off the shelf pack you can get right now

If you compare directly then definitely. But it looks good in person. Sometimes when I walk past I am not always sure which one it is. they did a good job on the little detail it has. But for half the price, if you plan on doing some modifications and upgrades its great!

Can they stop using the game every year? 😵‍💫 the one last year was rad, but now this?! Adios wallet.
