Those sounds are quite correct. The rattle doesn't sound the same and it loops very awkwardly. It's close but not exactly accurate to the 1984 film.

​@@JasonGlissonI'm sure the sound effects will be fixed when their done in production, they said that not all sounds are final, and could be subject to change. I'm excited to get mine and I dont care if the sound effects aren't perfect.

The 5 minute automatic shutdown is definitely not as annoying on the PKE as much as the proton pack.

I’ve gotten a good rhythm with the Matty PKE. I just wish the sounds with the Matty were more accurate. The Haslab PKE looks and sounds more screen accurate.

I’m sorry, but there needs to be a “No-Ghost” option on in the trap” ghost sound selector. That sounds like Darth Vader and takes away more than it adds. ~(/)~

I'm just happy that the P.K.E. meter has accurate lighting sequences and sounds. Take that, Matty Collector!!

Yeah but the speaker sounds like tinny shit. I also thought the traphad bright led and it rumbled once you trap something.

for everyone mentioning how "off" the sounds sound, since I've seen it a few times, the sounds will sound different when theyre actually in our hands because the audio for this demo was likely recorded with the lav mics attached to the actors, so its gonna sound a little weird

I would like if the ghost sounds are shut off as an option and just Trap Function sounds only. I wonder if that would be a setting we can adjust. Outside of that the trap and pke look great!

It would be cool if they added extra effects like the matty trap with electricity going through the cracks of the doors or if they added the ghost trying to escape and shaking the whole trap

It's so cool how the pke meter has a new update and style and the wings on the pke meter can go up, and the pke meter also has different mothers on the scanning screen and with the ghost trap I love how it has more sound effects and lights and can be controlled by a pedal 👻🚫😁

The one thing that I don't understand is why toys are required to have a timeout feature it seems kind of redundant to do that

I cant wait to get these and add them to my haslab collection. I am curious to see if these will bring down the price of the matty collector trap. I wasnt into collecting when that stuff was around. I always wanted the trap but the prices were insane. The store by me has one for $500 and a matty pke for $350

The matty trap had a vibrate function after closing, is that included with the new one? Also the cord to the trap seems different. Off the top of my head, I don’t know which is screen accurate?

I really like what I see, especially the sound changes when you swap the rods. I know they said sound FX aren’t final. But I really hope for a revision on the taser sounds. They’re just kind of a miss imo. Also kind of wish the arms on the pke could control a little smoother, like the old model with the scroll wheel control. Last gripe, what is the deal with the big chungus wheels? They’re enormous. I foresee that being the #1 day one mod if easily rectified

E.M.F. stands for electro magnetic field. P.K.E. stands for psychokinetic energy which is fake. Some people believe you can detect ghosts with an emf meter, so they basically turned a toy fake ghost detector into a real one.

I have been thinking if their gonna include ghostbusters afterlifes pke meter animation.

Not going to lie it made me a little nervous how they kept saying this is a toy not a replica🥶

I love how pretty the trap looks, but the sound effects are kind of... meh. (no Scoleri bros. sounds with the silver ion rods... why) They don't sound terribly movie accurate. Also the trap door mechanism is still pretty iffy, with it being controlled by those visible plastic "arms". So far, I think I like the Matty Collector trap better overall. But we'll see once this is in my hands.

I’m beyond excited for my set to arrive! I was originally a little hesitant to back it, since it would be a long wait, but pulled the trigger anyway. I’m sure the wait will be worth it!

WHO love Ghostbusters 👇🏻

Maaaaaaaaaaaan, while these are based on the movies, they bring back memories of the ol' skool Real Ghostbusters toys. The Proton Pack was...fine, but the blaster was definitely NOT show accurate (technically, neither was the pack, being blue instead of black & brown). It seemed like a mishmash of show and toy...toy as in the figures with their oddball shaped blasters. The trap was hittin' (except again, it's blue), but the only truly WRONG thing was the P.K.E. Meter's antenna and scanning bars. It'd be pretty sick if Hasbro were to do a remake of that but make'em all show accurate... Meanwhile, these Plasma Series & HasLab...well, they're cool, but not for me.

after seeing this video im thinking of selling my Two in the box, really disappointing.

. Trap opening and closing sound is not right and needs to be fixed. Ghost sounds are horrible and sound pretty similar no matter red or silver pieces on. PKE still looks to chunky and the lights and sound aren't great. Happy i still have my matty collector ones because it doesnt look like they listened to most of the feedback they asked for. The trap looks like the biggest fail of the 2.

I'm sure most of this stuff is gonna be fixed since they said SOUNDS AND PAINT AMPS ARE NOT FINAL... Also, the amount of features jam packed into the pke meter is the reason why the handle is chunky. Even more, the wings are chunky because they even said THEY NEEDED THE WINGS TO BE DURABLE IN TASER MODE... I do get what your saying but if you actually listen to the video instead of complaining you would know THIS STUFF ISNT FINAL...

Ok shipping boxes designs look sick if we get something like that. Already not happy about the ghost trap sound effects. They basically have used what the mini trap from running press sounds like! As for PKE meter they have the iconic sound but not in sequence! Really really hope these are only prototype issues before final production. Already Matty ghost trap is better if this is what we get. PKE meter EMF looks fantastic but again they need to correct the high pitch sound when the wings move up and low for down.
