the modders for the first game put insomniac to shame with the suits, considering how much time there was between this update and the last you'd think they would release some quality shit but nah, Still not a single piece of dlc for players just returning suits and other ugly "designer" ones

@@gamingman5453 If the designs were bad, yes I would still hate on it. But if they were actually good, I’d appreciate it. I went to school for design, but even before then, I still had eyes. I could see what colors looked good together, and when there was too much going on in a small area. It really feels like no thought went into these new designs. Which isn’t surprising considering the extra colors for the base suits are horrendous. A yellow and white recolor for a Spider-Man suit. Really? It’s just lazy. I was drawing better spider-man suits in elementary school.

I’m gonna be honest. I’m not wearing any of these suits man… I’m a little disappointed ngl considering how long we’ve waited. Across the Spider Verse movie literally has 100’s of AMAZING suits to choose from…….. I don’t see how we ended up here

With the new options to change the parry and traversal ability’s I think that miles should have the option to change the color for his lighting to blue and yellow/orange

I think insomniac's biggest problem when it comes to their original suit designs is just how over designed they are. They have excellent takes on pre existing suits like their advanced suit being their take on the classic suit. But anything that's purely original just tries to do WAYY TOO MUCH.

@@Rando9472 i can understand it that you previously completed the puzzles n can relate it'll get repetitive, i can say the same about the combat and having to swing everywhere and playing in the same city that looked just the same on sm1. I suppose a button press to skip those as well would be an alternative option but doing that would reward you with far less xp points.

@@nicktubara The map looks very different just saying, in sm1 there where construction fisk sites everywhere, those are complete buildings now, the entirety of the other half of the map I'm new to sm2, places that got affected at some point in story of sm Miles Morales are different such as Roxxon plaza, need I say more?

I want the big time seeing all the variants for that with a different color schemes ,with a neon colors

Fun fact: KZreadr, Jacksepticeye, was reached out to make a suit, but due to him being busy with his sick cat and other personal problems he didn't get a chance to make his own design.

The coolest suit looks like a gta online outfit. Idk what insomniac is doing hiring these people, the suits are the biggest part of the game if you ask me, it could really make or break your entire gameplay experience.

These look like suits I was drawing in elementary school made in 4K. Their just flat out dull, childish, uninspired. They ruin the feel and tone of the game, I could understand and appreciate the into the spider verse suits, but come on, seriously, what’s up with all the whacky comical suits? How about just give us an option to turn off the spiderleg’s. I love the attention to detail on the movie suits. It’s the only saving grace for this game, and that’s mainly because I loved all the films. The remnants of quality and consideration in the craft making of the suits actually speak for themselves, it makes sense why it cost the movie studio houndreds of thousands of dollars and took teams of people to design them, But each individual one stands out more than the 60 plus suits.

PlayStation is already porting their biggest “hits” left right and center every other day, they can’t afford to keep making mistakes like this. Last year they was giving away Spiderman 2 when it was brand new and now it already was a major sale, the last time something like this happened it was the last of us 2, sure there’s a lot of factors into why the game wasn’t good or didn’t hold up compared to it’s original, but from my point of view and purchase it definitely has more to do with the suit design, along with just not adding enough to the game. Needed more parkour animations and stuff of that nature. Peter handles practically the same way minus the web wings.

As much as I love how many suits they are continuing to put in the game, a few of them are starting to feel like they don't fit in the game. It's one thing for a suit to reference a comic, movie, or game. but fashion designers and race car drivers? Not so sure.

As an approach I’d have like to see the DLC (when it comes) as multiple drops through a year or so after main release - keeping interest / players in the game and DLC should be a way of making the gap between mainline releases. I’d prefer something like Uncharter lost legacy as a filler (and happy to pay) but DLC can work

the metro and last stand suits are so tuff. without suit styles i wouldnt say that tho. regular clothing suits look so good on miles

In Soiderman 1, the prisoner escape “level” was one of my favorite pieces of the game. It’d be great to be able to make something similar happen in Spider-Man 2. Maybe a Survival Mode?

I’m experiencing some glitch or something where I’m in the crime missions and it won’t allow me to change my suit for Peter but only for miles

So the update is pretty much just more ugly suits? Smh I love the game but after beating it once and easily able to master it on the highest difficulty I played it a second time on new game plus and got a little more then half way through and just got burnt out on it

The suit at the end is just black variant of advanced 1.0
