The constant beginner screen was driving me crazy, and I couldn't find the SETTINGS icon - you showed both of those in about 4 seconds - when I stop laughing, I will go out in the garage and finish setting this thing up. Thanks for the help - video was great!

I bought one of these today for some solid reasons imo: 1. Affordable 2. Sony is premium quality imo. 3. Everything about it's build and gadgets it comes with make it well worth it.

The CarPlay seems laggy in the video is it slow ?

I recently got a steal on a really nice 2006 M.Y. vehicle for a daily. I don't at all mind rolling around in an old car except I really like having modern infotainment and sound. I think I've narrowed my search down to this unit to replace the stock radio. I didn't want to spend a ton since the vehicle is just a daily workhorse, but I also didn't want junk that may glitch out on me in short order. This, plus a compact hide-a-way sub (considering the JBL Micro one) and debating replacing the stock door speakers (I may have to take off the door panels anyway to diagnose a door ajar sensor issue) and I think I'll be golden.

I'm in the same boat actually with my 2007 Ridgeline. It already HAS a stereo upgrade (pioneer DVD unit circa 2010 naturally) but I want Android auto, and two of the upgraded speakers are blown anyways. My big conundrum is do I go with this cheaper unit since it's an older vehicle - or spring for the wireless android auto version instead? I love the idea of wireless but it may push my stereo budget too high for an older vehicle. I may go with this cheaper unit. I can always add wireless Android auto via a dingle later anyways.

@@A.L.T.A.F unfortunately, I haven’t been able to install it. After a couple of attempts, I’ve concluded I need to take it back to BB in a couple of weeks (free install on as part of the purchase).

Just bought the 3250 from BB and had it installed in my Jeep this afternoon. The free installation is a big plus! So far LOVE this unit. It replaced my Boss GPS Nav head unit. Love the Sony and CarPlay GPS nav so much better!!! It’s smooth, responsive, and darn fast! Haven’t even touched all of the features yet. But definitely a huge upgrade!

I love that you can use as digital gauge cluster aswell. I love it!

@@prem18rs-59 using my phone as hotspot. 😉 and also Real Guage is my Favorite! But you need a Bluetooth OBD to read engine real time. Phone links to stereo with Wifi, and Bluetooth OBD Links to dash kit with Bluetooth 👍 Hope this helps!

Not sure if this unit has Wi-Fi. You might need to do a little shopping but they are out there. I got mine on Amazon. They are called android stereo headunits. Basically a tablet for your car. Hope this helps

I'm having issues using a regular USB. After 3 seconds into a song the unit buzzes really loud and cuts off. Also, apple play and GPS is spotty...goes in and out.

So this is the one I got and I added the SiriusXM tuner option, but I’m trying to figure out where the radio ID is to get SiriusXM because it’s SiriusXM ready and the tuner is install but only the commercial channel works and then when I try to call into SiriusXM, they ask for the radio ID and then when I give it to them, they said the invalid radio ID so I don’t understand

I have this installed and I want to try out and connect the AV input to an iPhone can you please let me know what exact products I need in order to do that please.

I've had both the xav1000, xav3000 & xav3200. Only reason I like the 1000 is because of the volume knob (very handy) Aside from that, 3000&3200 wins every other day with carplay for apple AND android. Looks a lot cleaner in the console too

I head there is a wire that connects to the handbrake or park brake.. Which enables video playback... You can simply ground this wire to allow playback in motion....

You have to buy a swc (steering wheel control) adapter I have a VW Jetta with steering wheel control and it works great but for my vehicle that was another 50-60 dollars 🤷🏾‍♂️

I just had this installed...Unable to locate the auto volume control option, to lower the audio volume on lower gears.

What is responsive screen? Its either resistive or capacitive. Capacitive is glass and whats on cellphones.

How do I turn the thing off?? Iv got the 3250 bo direct off and other than turning the volume down I'm stumped

What's the preout voltage of the preouts on the 3250? The 3200 has less than 4V...if the 3250 does as well, I'm better off looking at a Pioneer at the same price and more sound features and better preout voltage...

Pioneer have the worst pre out voltage only 2 volts.

I have the 5600 and I think the main difference is 2 USB ports and a hdmi port also and capacitive touch screen so it's like glass...Other than that, they look identical

Does the reverse camera button on the device works? How to activate it? I know using reverse gear activates rear camera. But wanted to know why there is option in touch screen for reverse camera?

You can Manuel turn on the camera even when you’re not in reverse if you run accessory power to the camera as well as the reverse wire.

Nice video, but I'm a little confused. You said this was a "responsive" touch screen, not a "resistive" touchscreen. Does responsive mean capacitive? If responsive = capacitive, then it is not cheaper but more expensive. Am I missing something?

What are the brightness levels for the screen? Was hoping you would touch that subject since I had an older model and it only had dimmer and that’s it.

I got this today. It has brightness levels for when it’s dimmed to headlights you can adjust and for when their off for brighter. You can adjust both modes.

The 3250 is literally the exact same radio just the version from Europe. And actually I think it has less features cause I don’t think it has back up camera. Might be wrong on that tho.

Is this a US release only ? I can’t seem to find this in Europe 🤔
