This channel has always been one of my favorites. That said, I own Sonus Faber Sonetto’s. Sold my Focals and went from a metal to a silk dome tweeter. To my ears, a much more “natural” and realistic sounding speaker. I have no idea what these sound like, they’re beautiful and I’m sure they sound great in person. Have you moved your store or location? I’ve always enjoyed your choices in gear… Cheers from the Cayman Islands

I did just the opposite. I went from a silk fabric dome tweeter to the brilliantly implemented Beryllium tweeter of the Revel Salon 2 speakers and, I honestly don't think I'll ever part with them. The Revel Salon 2 speakers have become my "End-game" speakers.

Absolutely love your channel, and your recordings. This isn't the "Tempo Edition" of this song, it's the recording off the 2023 Lauren Daigle album. Just for giggles, I listened to this song through my Revel M16 speakers + sub on my Anthem Amp in my listening room, and it's startling how different this recording sounds when recorded through whatever device you're using, and played back using headphones. Your recording device really picks up the sound (reflections?) effect of the room - and as you back away from the speakers, it really makes this recording sound hollow...dare I say muddy. When you get right up in front a speaker, the room reflections are not in play as much - it's still there, just not nearly as pronounced.

These new Strads are soo comfortable sounding to me, they're the kind of speakers that would fit me like a hand in glove.

And cables can change the sound a little.. But i wil not complain... In real wil this sound blow the socks of most of us audiofils.. Keep on the work you do... Wow, this is better than I expected. I expected such a wide baffle will affect the sound too much. They do, but in a pleasing way like an Audio Note gears. But, I think the true star may be McIntosh MC3500 Mk2.

DA FAMOSA INTERVISTA: Se tutti noi tecnici audio professionali facciamo i nostri ascolti su sistemi attivi è per avere l'esatta immagine di quello che stiamo mettendo in onda o su cd o su hard disk. L' audiofilo medio, quello che spende una enormità cercando di "colorare" , "ammorbidire", "ambientare" i suoni dei propri impianti, si comporta come quel tipo che entra in una pinacoteca a godersi i quadri esposti indossando un paio di occhiali con le lenti colorate ... Usate le orecchie, non il portafogli.

Much as I love Sonus faber (I own the Elipsa SE's), these new Strads pale in comparison to the originals, at least aesthetically-speaking. They really missed the mark on this new design...

It's definitely your speaker, they sound very musical, with a lot of presence, emotional and physical presence but without ever being tiring. That's something so captivating about them.

@@degou3438 I'm sure that they sound amazing. (I have listened to a lesser model of Sonus Faber speakers in the past and was very impressed!) I was just making a joke about the absurdity of trying to judge the sound of good speakers on the crappy speaker in my cellphone

Ascoltato dal vivo con 3 pezzi di 3 generi totalmente diversi.. considerate le potenze in gioco, le dimensioni dei diffusori e soprattutto il costo totale, il risultato non è quello sperato. Mi dispiace dirlo ma personalmente quando ci sono McIntosh trovo sempre la mancanza di grinta e direi che con 350w rms per canale è il minimo pretenderla
