Thank you 😊
Wow, the new Saturn candle looks really nice :) I just made 3 candles as part of a club activity, but I think I messed up... do you have to have a metal plate at the bottom of the candles? (btw, I used molds for my candles, if that makes a difference)
Hello. Which wicks are you buying? And can you make video about how candles should burn?what is expected and what is not tolerated? Please 🙏
Where u got the spher mold
What does it mean when there too much soot? The wick is too big?
Where did you get all the molds? Pls help.
This is amazing 🤩 Where I can find that wick ? Please 🙏🏻
what size wick worked for you as this would be a good starting point - beautiful candles, it hard to see on the video
Love your videos ! New to candle making and they have been really inspiring 🙏🏾 Question, what are the different wick sizes used and which would you recommend?
@GlowedCandles

Thanks 😊 it will very much depend on the mould size you are using. You need to test each candles and have a variety of wick size in hand
Hi! Thank you for the video first of all, your candles are perfect 😍 I have a few question. Do you have frosting? If yes, what do you do with those candles? Do you sell them? How do you prevent it?)

Heyy What Size Wicks Did You Use?
What wick was the winner?
Hello, could you please link to us the wicks ?
You mentioned you use a TCR wick. Wondering What size wick do you use for your bubble candle? I'd love to make one for my mum for mother's day but as its only for a present i don't want to risk getting it wrong. I brought a kit form supplies for candles but the wick they included left the wax falling all over the place while it was burning. P.s You make lovely candles

It's normal for pillar candles to drip sometimes
Your candles are sooo beautiful and creamy looking!! I cant wait to try this wax!! Question, does this wax comes in White as well? Yours is like a cream color which I love, but I'm looking for the color White. Thanks for the video!

Thanks, no it is the natural colour of this wax and it really depends on the batch. Sometimes it is cream and sometimes super white

@@GlowedCandles Ok got it! And thank you for the fast response! 🙂 I will be purchasing this wax for sure. Oh and by the way, your videos of you demolding is so relaxing for some reason...LOL!!
Thank you for sharing this video!! It helps me to learn about wick selection. Do you pre-waxed your wicks and why :)? cheers

@@GlowedCandles So you use unprimed wick?
Does anyone knkw how to prevent wax dripping completely or is it normal with pillar candles? Somehow i always have a little that drips to the surface of the tray and form a small puddle...
@amandag5072

It's normal, unless you overdip your candle with a special coating that has a higher melt point.
Are u able to share where u purchased this mold from?

They are custom made by a shop in Australia. They are on Etsy. Cost about $100 (USD) each.
So I bought shaped candles I’m Not sure what I burn them on 😭
Hey I wanted to know the name of the wick you use and where can I buy it from

Hello, I like to use TCR cotton wick from 4candles
I am struggling so much with the performance of my bubble candles, the melt pool is quite small and they burn for about 4-5 hours if I burn them without a break. I really don‘t know how they should perform
@GlowedCandles
2 жыл бұрын
From what you are describing, i would say you should wick up. Your melt pool should reach almost the edge. To test decorative candles i usually recommend 2h at the time. you should get at least 10h from a bubble.
Can you re use the molds once you have cut them? If so, how?
@GlowedCandles

Yes you can
Hi dear! a question please. freestanding candles. I do 5 tests of 2 hours each for the wick. if it passes the test, how many hours do you recommend leaving a candle lit? I always recommend that the first ignition should be 2 hours (for a diameter of 7cm for example). then in your opinion how long do you recommend so as not to ruin the candle? a thousand thanks. 😘😘😘

@@GlowedCandles Thank you !
Hello, i make bubble candles for christmas but most of them have a white wax layer around and i think it‘s because the silicon forms are not clean enough. I clean them with hot water and sometimes soap but this didn’t work so well either. Some candles look good and some not. Do you have any tips? It‘s like a small layer of white wax powder and i really dont know what to do:/
@GlowedCandles
2 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes it is mini wax residue on the surface of your molds. So thorough cleaning is needed: 1- in the oven upside down on tissue paper at 70 degré Celsius for 20mi 2- wile thoroughly with tissue paper 3 - soak in hot soapy water and clean the moulds with a clean sponge 4- rinse 5- let it dry for at least 48h 6- wipe with rubbing alcohol 7- let dry

@@GlowedCandles Wow thank you so much for your fast reply!❤️ Thank you for your tips! I will try it! One more question, maybe you can help me with this too. I made probably 20-25 Bubble Candles over the past few weeks and some of them changed a bit. It‘s seems like the color faded a little bit or it looks bleached out kinda. Maybe the room temperature? I had them in my living room and it‘s always warm there. Now i have them in another colder room. I hope they look still pretty till christmas. Love your videos and channel! Greetings!❤️
Do you melt to 190f even though youre not adding scents?
@GlowedCandles
2 жыл бұрын
Melt point and pouring temperature are different for each wax but for the one I use I melt to 80c and pour around 60/65c. If I was adding FO then this would need to be added around 65c

@@GlowedCandles you're creations are amazing. They inspire me to be creative too. however, Kerasoy pillar wax are expensive here..
I too have a wick question please - I completely understand that there are many factors, but can you atleast give a starting point. I too am a beginner candle maker. I actually use 100% beeswax and found out the hard way that taper and vessel waxes are very different. ugh! And I also use coconut beeswax blend; still not the proper wax 🤦♀. (found my wax b4 I found this out) anyway, I am now trying to mix those to waxes as not to have a 3rd kind of wax to buy. So, with that said I understand that beeswax candles prefer square cotton wicks. I don't have a lot of test time as my daughter wants some candles for her babyshower in July. Here's to hoping you can give some sort of direction. loved your 5 things I wish I knew video. Thanks in advance for any help
Very disappointing that wick sizes are not shared!
