No pajamas or clam diggers for me! 😂

I was a teen in the 1970s and loved the wide leg pant, especially with a high waste. Good choice if you are slim. I like them done in flow-y fabric with the bottom just wide enough to cover the foot. Fifty years later I'm still liking that look.

You are my favorite fashion channel. Your choices are wearable and affordable and really cute. You do a great job. Please keep making these videos.

Yes to elevated classics!

When I was growing up in the 60s & 70s my parents had dinner parties often. My mom would wear these silk pant "suits" that looked just like pajamas. It was very elegant looking within your own home to entertain in. She never wore them out to their friends gatherings. As a young girl I couldn't wait to dress that way at dinner parties and I have been doing so for years 😊 Your friend Kristine

Right? And not near as attractive ones as the one shown here. I could never get into that look. I understand when someone needs to pick up medicine, diapers, or formula (some sort of emergency run), but there’s plenty of casual comfortable clothing that is acceptable in public. But to each their own I guess

Bows and Florals - while feminine - is also a look little girls wear. It can give a mature woman a juvenile appearance, especially with some body types. Tread carefully here.

My Mama’s age group called clam diggers “pedal pushers”. The cuffs / hem did not get in the way when riding a bike

Yes to linen and cotton fabrics. I will stick to my neutrals. I plan to shop my own closet this spring/summer. Capri pants? Really? They may look good on younger folk, but I think they make us older folks look frumpy. That is just my opinion.

Capri pants are terrible for everybody because they end at the widest part of your leg. Not flattering at all. And also not very classy in my believe.

I love that the pastel trens are still in for 2024 as well as statement belts. I will be wearing these especially pastels in wide leg trousers, shirts and statement tops.

Hi Jamie, I am glad to hear about the upcoming trends because they incorporate a lot of what I already have. I almost got rid of a couple of pairs of clamdiggers after last summer but now I'm glad I kept them, since they're making a comeback. I'm also really happy to hear that wide-leg pants are trending again because I picked up several pairs in linen at Old Navy when they went on sale last summer. I'm glad pastels are trending because I'm a Summer and these pale, cool tones are part of my palette! Now I just have to find a cute bomber jacket... lol. Great video, as always! ❤

Happy New Year Jamie! I love the wide leg, 3D Flowers, and I have gone out in a 2 piece PJ set, black with white polka dots I dress up the jogger with black booties and throw on a nice a jacket, it works and is it comfy! Frankly, I usually get compliments on the PJ outfit..

LOVING ❤️ the wide leg, super high waisted jeans and trousers! They actually provide tummy support and make me look 3 inches taller. I loved them the first time around, circa 1970, and so glad they are back in style. Thanks for this great video!

I had a beautiful black satin bonber jacket with Japanese style floral embroidered on the back it was beautiful and i got a rip in sleeve so i threw it out but i got loads of compliments when I wore that jacket i hope there will be a replacement in stores soon if it's trendy again ❤

I am happy to see that pastels are a trend this Spring. I have white hair, so I pastels look good with the hair. However, I think a white dress would be too much white! Actually you could wear them together - look at japanese art woodcutting s and kimonos

I love duck egg blue which I think would definitely fit in with pastel trend. Plus love pops of red, and always wanted a red jeans jacket so hope to maybe be able to get one this year. Plus also would love a bomber jacket. And florals are definitely something I like and love embroidery additions so embroidered roses or florals embellishments could be great. I've even seen quite a few pairs of florals on boots that were great. I also love the idea of elevated basics. Currently losing weight so looking forward to being able to invest in really good basics, with statement pieces to add a bit of flair to an outfit. Love your videos and that you don't just wear black, white and beige continually but you include those pops of colour. Thanks from Scotland

I love white dresses, but not if they have polyester linings, as most do. I had several midi shirt dresses, but they were on the cheap side and were so difficult to iron that I got rid of them. I actually like ironing, but fast-fashion cotton shirting is awful, one can’t iron one section without crumpling the rest of the garment. Some never even iron properly at all, like H&M’s.

As someone who is 65, i have to pass on hair bows, but a bow necklace may be ok. I strive not to look like a toddler. I love wide leg cropped pants and jeans. Capris and clam diggers are a no. I will stick to my bermudas. I do like the bomber jackets as i am short waisted. Thanks!

Interesting how Target was ahead of the game in feminine jackets years ago. I have a navy bomber jacket with tiny flowers from 2015-2016, very fun and feminine. Definitely excited for the bows and 3D flowers!

Wide legs have been around for a few years. I love them and I tired of the super skinnny.

As a short person, there is no way I can wear either the wide-legged pants or the clamdiggers. They make me look even shorter. I like the pastel colors as I live in a hot and humid climate. I wish that we could see more videos that feature clothes for real-life women. I think we are the forgotten demographic here.

As usual most trends are just a resounding no for me. I don't care what the Walmart set is doing, I'm not going out in pajamas, and i think dressy pieces paired with hoodies and chunky gym shoes just looks stupid.

I do not like high waisted slacks! I also predict that most people will be wearing what they already have due to the cost of basic essentials needed these days.

Therefore the house not in the public pajamas at home

I’m a short, older woman. Wide legs pants don’t work for me. Pencil skirts do work. I stick to trendy shoes, jewelry and handbags and classic clothing.

Interesting that you make fun of bows as old fashioned but then say you will dress classic and neutral. Audrey Hepburn is often who is looked at as the muse for classic and she was probably the most famous for wearing bows. It’s all how they are styled, little bow accents and accessories are very classic. And classic by definition is old fashioned and established

@l: Not sure about bows being old fashioned but personally feel garments with them may be a nightmare when it comes to maintenance. i.e.: Washing/ironing.

I always watch this kind of video's but I'm not that enthsiastic about these trends. Two piece sets are getting a bit boring. The pants are often to casual and not flattering for me. I especially don't like the ones with a cord in it. I do love bomber jackets but I need more good and classy trends. Capri? Really?? And pastel is also not that original and I can't wear white or bright red.
