Seeing how well the split-level design works, it makes me wonder: Why has nobody thought to take a relatively common home design in America, since the 1960s, and use those design cues for a yacht, before? It's really a 50+ year old design, and it REALLY WORKS here.

Bkuegame..which Sanlorenzo owns as well and Van DerWalk both have models very similar to this. If you really think about it, this is like a Lynx support vessel with customized furniture instead of carrying toys on the back. These were designed to resemble a Manhattan loft apartment which is kind of funny because a CdM Flexplorer is almost like this and was also set up to resemble a Manhattan loft apartment.

Obviously everyone knows Sanlorenzo owns Bluegame and to me this is just the long version of the Bluegame 72, except the back deck is filled with furniture and sunbeds. I get the feature of the yacht, basically being a giant yacht tender in a certain aspect, a glorified dayboat, but if you were going this route, I would just look at a Lynx toy carrier. Essentially the same concept and probably less money. Way more versatility, but not as opulent. The crew areas are probably better too. Sanlorenzo is not known for their taking care of the crew very well. Unfortunately, CdM won't build any Flexplorer this size, as I believe 39M is the minimum length which is 127' and could be used like this as well and have greater range, versatility, class rating and the crew areas are better. But I'm just not a fan of Sanlorenzo ever since I was crew on a 120 a while back. Great video though. Your love of the yacht really came through.

like the concept but i dont feel it cozy, i would feel im in a hotel and not "my house". Looks good for chartering. Owners cabin is smaller than VIP cabins in yachts this range, no natural light...
The host did a very good job but I can't even imagine myself in such a lifestyle.

No. You would need 3,000 NM range for that, minimum 2,800 NM.

Amazing Design, but I would definitely change some things about it. For example the lower salon should be a gym and partly storage room for things like a diving compressor and other water toys. And I would prefer an open gally + views through the cockpit.
I like it, but there is no magic....they sacrificed the VIP stateroom for that lounge area. Easy as that. But again, I do like it.
12.000L to travel 400 nautical miles? That means 30L per mile on cruising speed? Around €60,- per mile? Dang

Those must be the Oakley CLIFDEN model. Comes as a mountaineering version with removable side shields and a "bridge blocker".

🌊 no swell and the yachts is moving left to right.... and you can see how unstable the design is. Looks great but it is not sea worthy. You are paying $11 million for a fair weather vessel. as soon as the wind picks up you want to get off the boat.
