Hi Enjoyed your video i received my samsung monitor 2 days ago, Mine did not have a usb c cable and the remote was completely different. Down side of this monitor is the base and stand absolutely horrible. After installing the stand and setting up my desk it was very unstable had to put to small pieces under the front to stop in from wobbling when desk is leant on or typing. Upside the panel is very nice with all round great features. Picture quality is good same with sound. all round great monitor but put it on a visa mount.

What wireless keyboard is that?

Does it say your playing in 4K 60fps. Cause i read that via HDMI it only gets 30 fps?

Bought this monitor at Best Buy here in Toronto, Canada area. Worked great for three days and then went to use it and the screen did not turn on. In a dark room you could see that screen was trying to turn on but was unsuccessful. My region was currently under lockdown so I couldn't return/exchange it, so I called Samsung to do a warranty repair. Shipped out the unit and waited about 9 days for it to return. Got it back, set it up and within 5 minutes the screen issue happened again. Once again, packed up the monitor and sent it back to Samsung warranty repair centre. It's been about 11 days and I'm still waiting for the monitor to come back. Really wanted to like this monitor as it has features I haven't seen before but this is really unacceptable. My best bet is when I get this monitor back and if it still doesn't work, taking it back to Best Buy and seeing if I can get a unit that was manufactured at later date to see if they fixed the issue on the assembly line. At this point I would say buyer's beware.

So it acts like a TV with all the streaming services but doesn’t have a TV tuner? For years I didn’t posess a TV. I connected a 27” monitor to a PVR but had to connect PC speakers to it and used it like a TV. Ran well enough but eventually bought a 26” TV which was a much smoother experience. (off topic, I know).

Correct no built in tuner but all normal Tizen software with streaming services plus 2 HDMI to connect a cable / satellite box if desired.

Does it support 60hz with type C cable

This review was FAR better than Techchaps Samsung has been pushing Microsoft to offer 21:9 format options in some games.

Can this browser handle MS Teams Meeting?

I will be unboxing mine later today so I pray that it lives up to the hype.

My only gripe which I'm hoping to find a solution for is when I connected my windows laptop, I'm only getting a refresh rate of 30Hz so it response feels a bit slow. Haven't looked into the problem yet because I'm busy with work but I hope there's a solution.

I still dont get it. Whats the diference between this monitor and regular smart TV from samsung ? Smart tv has usb ports, hdmi ports, netflix etc., samsung dex you can connect wirelessly plus it is tv connection capable. Am I missing something ?

Thanks, I'm not sure what beats it for the price? You wont get HDMI 2.1 or 120Hz for $349

Supports HDR 10+ which is similar to Dolby vision but it is a Samsung version.

Waiting is........a local PC Shop (Denmark) had a stock of 50 of these and then came the M8....fast forward to May 2022...... And I paid $225 for the M7 ...... he's down to 19 in stock in a matter of a week 😎 Oh just looked......sold out....

I have the 43in of the newer B model. It has a far faster panel (advertised to be 4ms, GTG I think) . I use it as a tv and a secondary monitor. The fact that it is a monitor first and TV or whatever later is significant. There is about 10ms of input lag compared to my 144Hz TN primary monitor, which is really something. All that I say applies to the B model though. Do not buy the A model.

I chose the M5 because of the size. My only complaint: you can't connect a tv antenna to these monitors, an internet connection is needed to watch tv.

Nice looking monitor and it would be good for office work. But no HDMI 2.1 and a 60hrtz refresh rate dont make it good for the new gaming systems like the PS5 or XBOX One X.

The consoles struggle to get true 4k 60fps anyways, so paying that kind of money is a waste.

Not all ps5 games will work at 120hz. Literally yesterday consoles were throttling at 1080p 30fps and now you need 120hz 4k. 4k 60 is still a massive upgrade on 1080p 30fps gaming.. Also wanting 4k 120 for 400$ is not realistic.

It is good for literally all performance modes that run at 60 hertz and do between 1440p and 1800p. That is much better than getting some 1440p monitor that can do 120 hertz but then to do these frame rates on ps5 you need to do lower resolution.

@@rowanhuynh2002 It does not have chromecast feature since it is not a goodle TV unfortunately. I also sometimess plug my older chromecast ultra to it...might upgrade to a google tv dongle later. Only youtube can be cast, no other services

@@JoeGillian0 it doesn't have chromecast built in because it isnt android tv, or the newer google tv. But you can still cast netflix, KZread, disney+ or about everything really. I don't know why it doesn't work for you

The other reviews I've seen say screen is a bit crap. Colour accuracy is not great and it doesn't get bright enough. Don't know how they can claim hdr10 on a 250nit screen. Like I really wanted this screen to be good when I first saw it, looked perfect. But think it has some great features but is just let down by a poor quality screen.

No it does not do everything. It has no TV Tuner so it is not a TV. Why do they keep using the word TV. it is not a TV. It is a smart monitor. If it had a TV tuner in it I would jump on it. The only work around is that you can get a over the air tuner with HDMI connection out to this "Smart Monitor"

Horrible reviews on Amazon.

Andy dude you want 4k 120hz for this money? Please be realistic. If you really care about them hertz then pay for an lg cx or some samsung qled with 120hz.

Hi this monitor is the worst thing you can buy on games and I mean it really because I bought it and it's a terrible big mistake ... world of tanks, world of warcraft, world of ship and other games are visually more than ugly !!! well IPS 60Mhz..actically bad M7, it's a terrible picture and 4k doesn't even reach..sound .. tin, just awful! In addition, the color setting constantly changes according to the light in the room so that it goes out for 2-3 seconds and seems to fall and starts to change the setting changes color, and when you play the game, it's awful. Good to the office (maybe) I really do NOT recommend anything much
