These features are amazing - they should be the new standard for all monitors (hoping my next professional monitor will have these features).

This is not a gimmick channel this is a freaking well oiled machine. Very impressed with the editing, targeted demography, humorous punchlines 👍🏿

Love this review, answered several questions I had on this monitor! Quick question: are the USB ports on back essentisly working as a hub when you have MacBook pro connected? Wondering if their fast enough to xfer photos/video from SD card, or are they the slower USB ports? TIA!

I'm excited to try the 43" version of this screen which came out a month ago; this really helped assure me I'm making the right choice, so thanks so much Jenna! I've always been more about media monitors that can act as an entertainment center rather than just a screen with one input since my computer setup is in a dining room/kitchen, so this will likely meet my needs!

Make sure that u have enough desk depth between you and the 43inch otherwise you will get tired of moving your head around alot.

@@ragnarocking I've actually been pretty happy with mine, and had no issues with any screen dimness to speak of. It's a good clear monitor which is great for what I use it for (entertainment, writing, and web browsing), and the USB inputs it has act as a hub to allow me to use one wireless keyboard transmitter and webcam for all the inputs. My only real issue with it is that it forgets my programmed HDMI input names if a device is unplugged or goes to sleep, but that's not anything that had me sending it back by any means and can be addressed in firmware down the line. Also wish it had ethernet, but it's so close to the router that it's never an issue establishing a connection.

I currently have a curved 32" Samsung monitor. (I've had it about 2 1/2 years). I did notice that when I have eye-saver mode on it looks very strange when my MacBook Pro is connected (diluted and dull). I'm glad to see the problem doesn't persist on this model! Might have to invest in this!

Great video.. I bought this screen.. great all rounder.. very happy with it.

Bought this monitor at Best Buy here in Toronto, Canada area. Worked great for three days and then went to use it and the screen did not turn on. In a dark room you could see that screen was trying to turn on but was unsuccessful. My region was currently under lockdown so I couldn't return/exchange it, so I called Samsung to do a warranty repair. Shipped out the unit and waited about 9 days for it to return. Got it back, set it up and within 5 minutes the screen issue happened again. Once again, packed up the monitor and sent it back to Samsung warranty repair centre. It's been about 11 days and I'm still waiting for the monitor to come back. Really wanted to like this monitor as it has features I haven't seen before but this is really unacceptable. My best bet is when I get this monitor back and if it still doesn't work, taking it back to Best Buy and seeing if I can get a unit that was manufactured at later date to see if they fixed the issue on the assembly line. At this point I would say buyer's beware.

So did you get it? How's the picture quality?

Question: how's the latency using airplay2? I use airplay on my samsung smartv and the latency just doesn't work for me, it's noticeable.

Does this come in 20+" as well? But like not missing features especially the gorgeous 4k screen?

This is a big step in the right direction for monitors and TVs. Hopefully the next version will have a bit more usability in the bare bones desktop environment.

Great tutorial! Soo many Really cool features but I'm guessing you can't use a Samsing note 9 or 10 to be able to use dex wireless connectivity seamlessly as you showed using your Samsung 21 ultra? Anyone that knows the answer thanks in advance for your help..

Could you adjust the volume with the volume key on your MacBook Pro when connected to the monitor?

Looks like no tilt or height adjustment on the stand unless you get a different stand and use the VESA mount?

Always enjoy your content, certainly looking forward to future travel vlogs. I started out excited about this monitor, but I'll wait for Samsung's next generation. Only 250nits brightness, and only 60Hz so my existing 1080p 32" will continue to do for now. I'm in Canada, so on the plus side - inexpensive.

I mean 4K and high hz doesn't quite make any sense yet. AAA games won't go further than 60-80 FPS in 4K on a 2000$ GPU... And there's absolutely no way you will find that kind of monitor for around 300-350$

Thanks for the review. I have the M5. However, when wireless screen sharing from windows to monitor, the mouse on the monitor is always an arrow. Even on links where it should change to a hand icon or on text areas where it should change to a single, vertical line. Seems like the monitor is overwriting the the signal from the pc and using it's own cursor. This is really annoying and the click point is not precise. When typing it's impossible to click on two letters. However, on my LG smart monitor this does not happen. I have tried two different laptops, one is win10 and the other win11 and three different mice. Nothing changed. Did you or anybody noticed this and is there a solution? I have called the customer support and they told me I should use the monitor with wired connection!! Thanks.

I own two of these but the software is buggy, struggling at times detecting one hdmi device to the other. But it’s nice to tell Alexa in the computer to switch between. However, the USB-C connected to your laptop? Buggy. Almost always needs a shutdown before it displays. It see’s the laptop but when you connect, it’s no go on the monitor

Can I cast my laptop to the monitor so I can see what's happening on the monitor without connecting with a cable?

with a macbook you can use apple airplay. idk if you can connect other brand laptops wirelessly

This would be an instant buy if it had an option to have 120fps for gaming, but I don't play that much for it to be a grave issue. Very impressed with this monitor.

From looking at the remote. This is the first version of the 2 that's the m7. The new M7 has the white remote. Personally i would grab the 32" m7

Does samsung make a tablet or a portable monitor that does all this?

How good is the display quality compared to a good 4k TV?

Be aware that with the samsung m5 model you cannot change colour settings and many more other useful settings when you have it on 60hz, on the other hand if you use 50hz you can magically use alot more settings in the menu, also when game mode is enabled alot of settings cannot be used to, so i dont recommend the m5 for computer if you are planning to use it at 60hz (edit: and yes i updated the firmware of the monitor to the latest version and still have this problem, also HDR in windows makes the screens pixels flikker on and of with certain parts of the picture so dont buy it for the HDR function, its a fun decent monitor, but i recommend buying something else than the m5 model btw i have the latest m5 model, and not the first m5 model from years back

I have it and I love it. it works really well as a small tv for me, and really nice as a dual monitor. got it for under 300 with a student discount too

I have this monitor. It buggy as hell tab view won't work like 8 out of 10 times, sometimes my phone could not search this monitor, usb C connector often wont connect.

i love mines I got the 43 inch one ..still playing with it ...
