I have 2 of these (red and silver). They are a blast. We use them for little races we set up in the back yard or wherever like a family get together etc and I let people run them. So far the only issue that I’ve had isn’t with the buggies but with the cheap Amazon wheels I put on them. Love these little rigs

3S in this buggy is WILD for sure! I think 3S with gearing it down is probably the sweet spot.

And if you want to fix the range, take the radio apart and pull the antenna out so it’s outside when you put it back together. I did this and it was problem solved

@@2040RC you have enough subs that they should be interested though as you can see by my disappointing views so far that subs doesn't mean much. Most of my subscribers subbed to me for drones years ago and have since lost interest in them if they don't care about r/c cars. :(

I guess your not the first to experience some range issues. I really like this a lot. Was hoping they send one out , but I guess size matters when it comes to channels😝! I totally agree about getting a motor fan for this. Or like some have said, gear it lower a bit to keep the motor and esc from working so hard.Hope fully I can get on at that discounted price. @@BangForYourBuckRc well that's better than nothing. You picked one up at 50% off from their website? Yes the motor needs a fan or at least cooling fins badly!! David and I were just talking about that last night. The motor gets so hot that the CF chassis will nearly burn you underneath the motor.

When it comes to the 3s battery does it have to be 7.4v or can I add a 11.1v?

7.4v is 2s. 11.1v is 3s so if you are adding a 3s then it'll always be 11.1v. I believe you may be referring to the capacity (mah) and that can be any size capacity as long as you can fit it in the car.

The TX's have been fixed. It was a molding issue that they already resolved but some reviewers got the early production units that caused the trigger to not reach full throttle. You should get one now while they are still $99

Maybe if you put the gps reader on the front of the car it won’t wheelie. The gps is too heavy to put on the wing.

I kind of prefer aluminum even though it is heavier because aluminum will bend before it'll break where as CF just snaps.

how come nobody actually in rc car hobbies has done a review? no foams in the tires says all you need to know.

No one in the actual rc car hobby... Huh? What do you think I am? In not a drone channel. My buddy Dave at PerthWestOZ RC also reviewed it. The car isn't that expensive for having a CF chassis and a brushless system. It isn't perfect and it is nearly impossible to drive on 3s but it is fun on 2s though it isn't perfect. It tends to flip over way too much on jumps. As for the lack of foam in the tires I agree with you though foam is not that common in cars at this price point.

I've been building and driving r/c cars since the mid 80's. I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable r/c guy on KZread but I'm far from ignorant. Have you tried making comprehensive rc reviews? Trust me it isn't easy and as hard as you try you are still bound to overlook something.

I'm not a fan of Traxxas as they nearly ruined the kit building aspect of the hobby. You are free to go watch the big shill channels if you wish just because they have "hobby grade" cars.
