Interesting... I haven't tried the M12 palm nailer yet. It would be a great comparison. I used to own a Senco palm nailer years ago. It definitely came in handy at times.

Hey Scruds, good to hear from you again! I'll take a look at your new video once it's out. Besides school, are you still gaming? I'm not too much into gaming lately, but like doing Wordl, Connections, and now I just discovered Subway Surfers. Do you recommend any games for the phone?

Hey Mark, really liked this Video. Hope You're ready for one of my usual long winded comments!? 😆 When my trusty old dual tank Emglo compressor died around 2017, Home Depot had this compressor on sale, and so I picked it up. The best feature of this Ridgid Air compressor is the weight, or lack thereof. I love how easy it is to carry it from place to place, room to room, etc. All in all, a solid piece of equipment and fairly reliable. Cons are: NOISE! It is loud! The air gauges are ridiculously small, and hard to read. The lock off valve, which you covered well, is a bit fiddly, at least on mine. I adjust the pressure, and then ‘smack’ it back in to lock. Please note: It is Important to periodically drain the tank, like you showed, and Thanks for that. Use the bleed valve as you showed, and drop the tank down to below 45-55 PSI. Then open the drain valve, and let it fully drain down, and when done, turn the compressor on, and let it run for a minute or so, with the drain valve open, then close it and let it finish running up to pressure. It will last a lot longer and be safe. I’d say that Palm nailer seems Ok, not sure. Ridgid air nailers are generally pretty good. 90 PSI should be enough. Like You, I always liked my Senco palm nailer. This Ridgid seemed to have some issues, but it may have been the operator? No offense! 🙄😆 Half the time I wrap my hose like You. The best way I have found, and learned, is to make a loop, then twist it the opposite way on the next one, and so on and so forth. It takes a little practice, but is the best way. I miss the old gray Senco hoses from back in the day. They were so pliable, would lie flat, and wind up like nobody’s business. I loved your story about the noise. I remember once, in another season of life, working in a residential setting, when I disconnected the hose form the Rol Air compressor I was using ( Company supplied ) and everyone knows the loud ‘Hiss’ the Air makes. The older lady in the house nearly had a heart attack! I always ‘warned’ people after that, so I wouldn’t kill anyone by accident! 😯 No comment on the Stuper Bowl 😠😯😔 * passes out Coffee to Mark and others ☕😊🤣 * Take care and stay safe! 👍

Great to hear from you George, as always. This might be your longest reply yet, lol. I'll have to try the way you mentioned to wind up a hose. I figured there was a better way than what I'm doing. I used to have 3-4 of those old grey Senco hoses and yes, they were nice. I'm very happy with these new Ridgid hoses, especially the way they lay flat in cold weather. I still have an Emglo dual tank compressor which is definitely heavy and a little bit of a pain to lug around a house. You made some great points on how to maintain a compressor. Thanks for posting that! Have a great day!😄🙌💯
