@@MomentumProductions1992 I wonder if the remote doesn’t come with single units. There are currently no twin packs in Australia and I didn’t want to wait :)
Like the looks of that remote. Bet it feels great too. Also, the built-in mic @2:33 is such a dandy feature. We've had some issues with our Quasar Science RGB tubes, so maybe this is the next thing we try!
So excited, just ordered the quad kit!
Awesome review Josh! Now it's a show down between Aputure's (yet to be released) tube lights and Godox's (presumably more affordable tube lights). Can't wait to see your review on that!
Great review. I don't yet own tube lights but I've been window shopping for a while. These look pretty dope, thanks for the breakdown.
Looks like another winner from Godox! Market has really exploded with tube lights lately
Thank you for the introduction to these lights. I think these are going to work for me, with 2 hrs at 100% illumination you can count me in. I wish you all the best... what about light rain or other outside challenges?

This is an awesome video...I was hoping for a better more affordable tubelight. Can you provide a link to the flexi connection for the tubelight please? Thanks!
thanks for sharing
What is the link to the flexi mount bracket you spoke of at 4:27 of your video?
What was the dual clamp to hold the light that you used for the bulb effect?
What is that flexi/curvymount thing that you are using with a stand?
Why don't these manufacturers put a tripod mount on at the bottom? Surely everyone would liek to do that!
The only gripe I have about this light is the fact that in rgb mode we can see each color led, and it seems not as smooth as in white mode. If you want to use it like a pratical or for a certain look in the background, it's a big issue!
Have you compared the output to something like Nanlites led tubes??
Hello. I mainly do still photography and planning to buy one of these for low light portraits. Am confused between this and the Godox LC500R. Can you please guide me in picking the right one. Thanks
For vertical, gaff the light to an interns head and make them stand there.

Can these be wired in permanently? I was looking for something just like this to put in some overhead lighting to reflect up towards a ceiling. If not, I'm looking for something just like this that could be used just like regular fluorescent lighting that's plugged in full-time and doesn't require charging. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much for this review! I am debating between buying the 2-light or 4-light kit for the TL60. We already have full studio lighting (4x Godox VL300, 2x Aputure 120dii), but would likely use these for adding color to product shoots, background practicals, or fill lights on run and gun shoots. Knowing that, would you recommend getting the 4-light kit still, or going with the 2-light kit and waiting to get two of the 4' versions of the Godox that come out in the future?
@MomentumProductions1992
2 жыл бұрын
Hey Justin, thank you for watching! If you plan on using this lights for practicals and for product lighting, you will most likely need more than two. If that's the case, I would go for the 4-light kit. You'll love it!

Can i use it as Streaming Setup ? Im building a studio for a big streamers , and this might come handy (to handle 4-6hours of stream session 4times / week .) I mean can we plug it and use it while charging?
Looks like a cool light. Wish they used a USBC charger. I hate needing to keep track of a zillion different chargers for things.
How fast a flash of light can you produce with this? I’m trying to do a fake camera flash
Great video, very informative and helpful. I have 4 godox lights, how do I set one light as the "leader" and the other 3 as the "followers"? I have the cables to connect them all, just trying to figure out how to set the LCD screen so that I can control them with the remote control, I want all the lights to be the same ect. And at 4:11, you mention another bracket, with a clamp and fleximount, that is more sturdy, is there a link for that product? Thanks
@alisonjones4695
2 жыл бұрын
My apologies, I just read some replies and can see that the fleximount is currently unavailable. I was thinking about mounting a varipole from wall to wall and using a super clamp with a magic arm, then attach the magic arm to the plastic "c" clamp that comes with the product, which clamps onto the tube....hopefully this will give some flexibility with moving it around.... I'm using it as a hair light.
Are this lights better than the godox lc500r?
Wich mount did you use from another brand?
How is it when compared with Nanlite Pav 2 tubelights?
How bright are these?
can you see the LED diodes in camera when you dim it down?
@MomentumProductions1992
3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the exposure. If you expose a person properly in your shot, you will not be able to see the diodes. Even at 1% dim.
How does it compare to the neweer TL60?
You said that them don't change color if you dim them. Try with Yellow. On my TL60 there's a huge difference in yellow from 50% to 25%. Moves from yellowish to greenish.
How good are these light if you were lighting a subject directly overhead. Strange Question I know.
Are these better than quasar tube lights
Is it better that the LC500R ?

How does this compare to Astera?

I'd like to know too as the LC500R came out last fall I think. From what I gathered the TL60 seems to be catering to music videos. It has DMX connections plus the kind of light to be in the shot and thus no barn doors. The colour temperature is as 2700-6500K compared to 2800 to 8500K for the LC500R. That one seems to be more geared towards photography and accent light for filmmakers.
