I have a 2022 RAM Rebel with multifunction tailgate and self added Rambar, and my buddy has a 2021 RAM Rebel standard tailgate and factory added Rambar. We both wanted tonneau covers around the same time, he went with the Retrax Pro XR and I went with the Bak Revolver X4S. For him, he wanted the T slots so he went with the Retrax, and I didn't want a canister taking up bed space so I went with the Revolver X4S. Install on his Retrax was fairly easy. Install on my Revolver X4S did take some thought and the addition of some seals to take up the gap created from the Rambar. Water test, and we're both getting a little water in the back corners of the bed. I will check out that tailgate seal, that's a good idea.

How much is the gap from cover to tailgate?

How big is the canister….this is the most important dimension

I agree. No one ever seems to mention this. The Retrax Pro XR has a canister width of 13 3/4", and a height of 11 5/8". I assume this would be similar. I wish reviews, and the manufacturers would provide these details...as I struggle to find any info also.
