i bought this foundation bc i love ariana grande and was disappointed initially bc i also have dry skin (i think she says she has dry skin in her vogue video) and i have a lot of texture on my forehead and around my mouth/chin and it was emphasized. but i didn’t give up on it and it looks best on me (actually like pretty dewy) when i apply it immediately after my skincare. i think a super hydrated and moisturized base works best with this instead of letting your skincare dry and a sponge applies it best for me personally! there’s definitely a lot of mixed reviews on this foundation though and i can understand why

ooof I can feel the dryness just looking at it. Thanks for helping my dry skin avoid pointless purchases.

Thank god you made this video! I was actually going to try this foundation when I'm out of my mac face and body for more coverage. So glad I saw this first!! I actually like the cream eyeshadow in fembot from REM. It's one of my prettiest eyeshadows.

I’m 55 now and it looks exactly like the foundations I had to use as a teenager. I’m really surprised that anyone would actually like this!! I remember that feeling and that texture, just horrible. I’m so sorry but I did have a giggle when you were out in daylight 😂, but you’ve found the perfect foundation to use if you’re filming and your character is at least 60 😂

I am around the same age. Foundations were horrible never mind the shades not matching, ever. I remember discovering that mixing my foundation with water back then made it so much better. I guess I was making a skin tint.

It’s crazy what difference a skin type can make because I have comb oily skin and I liked this foundation. 😅 We are the same age and you have MUCH better skin than me. On me it seemed very light weight. I also apply just a little bit of foundation I don’t go heavy handed. I love the foundation brush too.

I really enjoy your reviews. I actually really like this foundation. I am usually a brush girl but with this I find the sponge works the best. I have mature dry skin. It really has a lot of coverage which I appreciate. We are all different and foundation is truly a personal decision in my opinion. I’m always trying to find a better one. But with this so far I really like it. Thank you for a great video❤

I agree. I have dry skin, too. I have to moisturize heavily and use a hydrating setting spray for this to work. But I love the shade match and the coverage. It's not my favorite, but with proper prepping, it does look really pretty.

I actually really enjoyed her matte lipstick in the color tiramisu, and I also enjoyed her powder highlighter, but those are the only two things I’ve tried.

Thanks for keeping it real!!!! You should recommend this for HALLOWEEN makeup 😬

i’ve tried this foundation and honestly i feel like it’s definitely skin type😭 i have oily skin and to me this foundation feels super lightweight and not drying at all and it’s one of the few foundations that i’ve tried that doesn’t emphasize my texture or look of my pores

ig it doesn’t work for dry skin cuz the concealer works so well for me 😭 i haven’t tried the foundation but if it’s matifying like that it might be perfect for my oily/combo skin. just a recommendation tho even if u have oily skin if u want matifying foundations but feel they’re too drying for u try using a face oil underneath, it helps hydrate ur skin and can make a drying foundation/concealer not look dry and flakey. my personal fav is the palmers vitamin e face oil

I haven’t tried this foundation but it reminded me of my wedding makeup trial earlier this week. The MUA didn’t use this foundation but this is exactly how my base looked…it was so crusty and dusty. I looked in the mirror and my heart sank. I’m 30 and I have dry/combo skin but my god this makeup made me look so old and dry I was devastated. 😭

I have very dry skin, so I moisturize a lot lot lot , (literally wet look ) my face before applying makeup, but this foundation was beautiful.

Girl. GIRLLLLLLL ☠️. The only good thing about this foundation is the comedy value of the thumbnail. Literally speechless.

I have that sleep and glow pillow, got it maybe 2 years ago. No idea if it actually does anything for wrinkles or puffiness, but I love it. It's so supportive on my neck and the height and stiffness is great for rolling between side and back sleeping like I do. I'm super picky about pillows bc it's so hard to find something that works for tossing and turning on every side all night, but this one is the best I've ever tried. I take it everywhere with me and miss it when I don't have it. I use a silk or satin pillowcase on it and I suspect that helps more with wrinkles than the pillow itself though.

I LOVE this pillow. This is actually my second one. I lost my other one in the move, and I’ve missed it so much😂 The neck pain is significantly less when I use it. I got in a really bad car wreck when I was 16, so my neck and left shoulder have been screaming in pain since then…this helps SO MUCH

Can you review the Lisa Eldridge foundation?

I could see that pillow helping with lash care and maintenance. I sleep on the very edge of my pillow so that my lashes hang odd but it squishes my cheeks and I have definite wrinkles from side sleeping. I want one and will be asking for it for my birthday or Christmas. I’ve wanted it for years. Avid 24/7 lash wearer and need it!

I went to buy this today and the poor girl at Ulta had the worst time shade matching me. Funny enough I'm the same exact shade as you. But she didn't love any of the shades on me but 1N was definitely the closest and I've been wearing it for a few hours now and it looks great on me, the shade and otherwise.

Every single one of your videos is helpful. Honest truth actual real closeup results. Real. Even some of the other creators I watch who do reviews and everything they put on looks amazing, but there's very few close-ups and outdoor real light results. Thank you! Oh btw, I have a generic version of the sleep n glow pillow and I love it! Completely eliminated the lines I was getting on my chest. I've learned to sleep on my back bcz of the pillow which then helps prevent the facial and neck lines. Thanks for sharing!

@@ImMalloryBrooke ngl, I miss sleeping on my side tho! I have a jerniatedndiac in my back so side sleeping was most comfortable for me. Now that I'm sleeping on my back, I use a pillow under my legs. It helps, but still miss sleeping on my side!

The only thing I like from REM is the full nights sleep under eye balm. Nothing else lol 😂 and the only reason I tried it, is because my bestie swore up & down it was the most smoothing, hydrating under eye prep ever. It’s really great, highly recommend!❤ (but I agree with you, everything else sucks.😅😂)

How did the hand tats feel? My husband has some and he said he loved it. I'm skeptical, but I just started getting them two years ago. Trying different areas. So far I have lower back, side hip, ankle, lower inner arm, and upper outer arm. The back of the upper arm burned like a bitch! 😂

im 14 and have oily skin and high key this pills so bad around my nose, chin and smile lines. I found a wqy to fix it but it really bums me out! i had high hopes for it

Sucked all the moisture right out. I don't have particularly dry skin, more combo/normal. Perhaps as it has hyaluronic acid which needs existing moisture in the skin to function it's not going to work as you've proved here. I might try a sample if I can.

I love your honesty. Now a days you tubers. Tic tokkers just act like every product is so good because they get Paid to do so . I mean it's OK to get sponsors but believe in whos sponsoring . Because some of us can't afford to spend alot of money every week on make up and trust you influencers to give it us straight so thank you ., Im 46 and on the search for a good foundation.. ❤ya ..don't mind spending but only if it's worth. MAC is still one of my favorite brands to buy from! Their products are created for performance and photography, so they know how to make you look good lol

Oh, Mallory! That does look bad. And you’re usually capable of making even the worst of things look tolerable. It genuinely looks like you’ve worn the same foundation and concealer for 3 days straight, and have just been adding new layers AND baking, instead of just washing it off and starting with a new layer each day. Smart choice on the return! (I’ve also never really liked any of her products. They have a very… dollar store quality and vibe to me. Not worth the price point, even though it’s on the lower end of non-drug store.)

Your review is so validating for me because my experience was identical. Lol. The tightening feeling especially, it was like when a clay mask dries down on your face. Or the cheap Halloween makeup kits that are fucking GARBAGE. Couldn't take it off fast enough, it was almost offensive 😂

Girl, thats insane. I said I don't like REM because I've already tested and reviewed many of them before and... didn't like them. They weren't good products when I liked Ariana for more than her voice, and they aren't any better now.

@cocci4n agreed! Not to mention, she applied WAY too much. I could be wrong, because I’m in no sense, a “professional”, but when I apply my foundation, I use like 1/4 of the amount she slathered on her face😂
