Lol first thing that caught me too. I'm only 30 and I remember.

I remember when I was a kid, our local Radio Shack use to have a good selection of RC cars out of the box that you could try out in the store. It was always exciting when I got to go in there!.I love the swap meet videos!

Totally remember that too, have some core memories of my dad taking me there to test a few out. Ended up getting a couple over the years, my favourite was a yellow monster truck with no suspension but had hi and low and legit 4 wheel drive.

Same in my town. As a kid, I would totally play with those rc cars in store n get yelled at every time. 😂 good times back then. Then it was nothing but cell phones that killed the store. What a shame

We do those RC swap meets all the time! This place just recently opened and is awesome! With an indoor drift track, crawler course, and a 24 scale course 🤙

We almost went to that swap meet! But, I had another obligation that morning. The owner of this hobby store is really doing all sorts of cool things o promote the hobby!

My first rc car was a Tyco buggy from Radio Shack lol, I was 9. Didn't pick up my 2nd till just over 3 years ago! Lol!! Speaking branded bodies Mark, I now work at Fox Factory in Gainesville, Ga! Not too many people know, there are two different Fox logos. The logo with the Fox head is the apparel side of the company run by Greg Fox. The logo with the Fox tail is aftermarket suspension side of the company run by Bob Fox. I work for Bob's side of the company, running a cnc machine. Great video Mark!!!!

My first RC not from a toy store was a RadioShack buggy. It was called the Golden Arrow I believe and it was awesome! I wish I still had it.

I was a huge fan of the RC10 products back in the day.

Had a 1/14 scale radio shack buggy when I was a kid. 540 brushed motor...12-15 mph... ripper!!lol

That was a great swap meet, wish I had gotten there early like you. I bought the re-re Sand Scorcher, gotta get started on it soon.

You missed a bunch of vintage stuff that I'd scoop up in a heartbeat......there's never swap meets like the ones in Texas..... Think I need to move to Texas!!! Mark need an rc pro roommate? I'll make you cash!!!

Man I had one of these. It was a blast. I am 48 I just recently got a hobby grade rc.

I would love R/C swap meets, the radio shack buggy's and the cars/trucks where the s*** when I was a kid!! I picked up a all original T-Maxx for $150 with very lite run time....I would actually buy some Radio Shack R/C's just for the memories....if I found any!!! Great vid I love watching the swap meet vids!!!!💯

i have a mini grave digger with a blown out body. It would have been perfect.

My buddy and I started with Golden Arrows from Radio Shack!! Got about 5 or 6 of them after Christmas with returns! Get them for real cheap! Then moved into real rc as the electric sh*t kicked in... Losi stadium trucks, Tmaxx 1.5 convert to 3.3 etc! O.G.r/c

i had bought my son a golden arrow from radio shack somewhere in the 1980"s in an electronics magazine showed how to make a BEC ,battery eliminator circuit with a diode, let you get rid of the 4 AA batteries , that and a hop up motor good to go,i was runing an RC10 at that time

I have an 8s TLR tuned typhon and it’s my favorite RC vehicle of all time! Totally forgot about my XRT and my XMAXX because this little rocket does 80+, never gets hot and does huge jumps for days! But stays very stable doing it! 😊

Happy 4th of July. Msm . Hi there mark I seen the video of your 5 xmaxx well if you're ever going to give one away how to get involved in the drawings or how ever you do it. I had the xmaxx an erevo 2.0. Slash and the mt10 and the ruckus. The sad part is they were stolen from me out of my storage unit in my apts . I ran into some bad luck past few years. Was homeless for 11mo. Lived in my truck. Then I finally got a place an my truck was stolen from my apts. That was 2 months ago and still no vehicle yet. Run of bad luck. Cracked my sturnum in a car accident 2 weeks ago. Lost my job. Not sure but maybe my apt too. I love the hobby it's what I love relaxing and fun an fun lol. I love your tube channel it's awesome. Learned from it alot I appreciate you God bless you and your family

Hopefully you come out with slt2 and slt3 spektrum radios for thumb stick steering wheels I'm sticking Aarma Losi and Traxxas from now on my dad used to run an original stampede Nitro with a purple custom pipe out the back and he raced his stampede with a freshly painted Grave digger body loved that thing if I could pick up another original for cheap in good condition with at least wheels and tires and a servo I'd jump on it real quick.
