Honestly, your statement about the dolls being cute on their own, just not next to the old dolls, is probably one of the best summaries I’ve heard of this whole reboot. These are good dolls, it’s just that people (myself included) can’t help but think of the old dolls when they see these characters. Hopefully the slime thing is just a one off gimmick. Your thoughts on the glitter were almost my exact thoughts as well. Why the super chunky glitter on the forehead, instead of a nice micro-glitter across their cheeks like a blush?

I would LOVE to see a series or movie based on your younger self - you are really really funny , and yet somehow you can change the vibe to a serious topic and I’m ready to grab the tissues , and I am so here for it . HEY as someone who LOVES holographic- i call it my favorite color lol -the way you tell the difference is if it reflects the WHOLE rainbow. If it isnt showing the whole rainbow of color, it isnt holographic. It is likely iridescent if it's not holographic, meaning it is shifting between maybe two or three colors at most, but not ALL of them. Holographic has a very distinct look ^^ Ruby's skirt is in fact holographic!

i was a late bloomer with makeup i played outside climb rees and stuff up until i was 10 or 12 then music around then that pulled me away from that i was like only one or two years playing with dolls but i had so many in that time i was growing up fast i did not get toenjoy things that much i had to help with my brothers being the oldest even thoe i have epilepsy so my late 30s i started collecting and rerooting dolls

I can appreciate how you feel, and others like you, but I am not fond of them. I hate the costumes and am not into slime. It wouldn't be worth it to me to purchase these dolls, and then have to donate or throw away everything else :( I don't purchase Bratz, so they aren't for me either. I really hope they bring back more high end dolls, and bring back some more edgy dark SH dolls. Please Please bring back those type of dolls

I just came across your channel and no wonder you have so many followers. Not to get too off-topic, but when my mom was 16, she had been playing the piano at church… The priest/Pastor stopped her and pulled her in front of the entire congregation and pointed at the red lipstick that my mom had put on and told everyone that this was the work of Satan. All the Rainbow High/Shadow high dolls have those dimples. I think this just looks more baby hand because of the lack of polish and subsequently the claws they started adding.

I've seen a few photos comparing these to recent releases without the fake nail mould and they do still appear a little shorter and less thin than more recent releases, more like the first RH wave.

why do i remember them always having that handmold.....i'm 100% sure that's how their hands always looked

I don't totally hate these changes, like her face is pretty. I'd rather MGA kept focus on making high quality newer brands rather than trying to make Bratz a thing every few years for the old-heads. Bratz doesn't have Barbie's staying power no matter how much they try to force it. Barbies are cheap, mostly generic, and more human-like, and that has broad appeal even when the quality isn't great. It'd be a shame if RH and OMG are suffering because of Bratz. I hope that's not the case.

We got Bratz after the lawsuit, tall Bratz, 2015 Bratz, that one series of collector Bratz, reproduction Bratz, and now the newest series. They're always on and off store shelves. It seemed like MGA had set up Shadow High in advance to compete with the Monster High reboot, guess it didn't work out.

I LOVE KISS TOO! Now there's a set of Barbies sized dolls I would love to have ! And never will. My husband's been asking around though, bless his heart.😅

The Rainbow High dolls (and Shadow High) have always had dimples in their hands. Even the older ones. Fun fact about me: I have always been tall for my age so as a toddler I didn’t have dimples in my hands and my hands already looked very slender and mature. I remember looking at my own hands and then at the stubby dimpled hands of my peers and thinking by myself “Whoah. I look very different 😮”

I have Amaya. Gorgeous. I love her sequins on dress, glitter on face and tinsel in hair. I love anything sparkly. Now that I know how the slime works it is fun for kids and not too messy. I put the glitter in her purse and since the shoes are clunky I put other shoes on her. So even though I won't use slime the dolls are very pretty.

I kinda dislike her default outfit (that gold skirt just isn't it ...) but if you pick up her pajama fashion pack she's absolutely adorable! I got her + the pack today and she's now one of my favorite dolls. :)

The original Ruby was the only Rainbow High doll I ever owned. I bought her on a whim to see what they were like, then mugged her for her clothes. She sat naked in a bin for a year until one day my coworker mentioned how upset her niece was about her dog chewing up the doll she'd won at school (she doesn't have a lot of toys). After some questioning and googling, I realized it was the first wave Ruby. My Ruby was subsequently rehomed, and the kid was THRILLED, especially since my coworker snuck and dressed her in the mangled Ruby's clothes and put her on the girl's bed for when she got home. So yeah, that's my story about Ruby.

Acetone might work? Although, you’d run the risk of accidentally removing their factory paint or burning the plastic :( … I did wonder if boiling water might remove the glitter as well, but my intuition is telling me that that stuff is going to be a nightmare to budge, lol.

They are the prequel to the ones before. Just imagine it in a movie context. Advanced souls have the two brain syndrome. I can't imagine a one brain life. The wrists decision was probably because the choking hazard, so if they wanted to appeal to younger kids they had to meet safety regulations.

I'm like you... i have 2 brains... maybe 3 sometimes.. our brains are like inside out :) and its meeeee with the dimples in my left hand because of my disabilities haha♡♡♡♡ my hand and arm are smaller and for 30 + years i had them. Now is much disapeared:) i have baby hand haha ... its like that i wear make up and i have dimples on one hand... lool And btw dont know why mga puts dimples on teenagers hands.
