Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
All my frineds are gear heads.....lol But Mike has taken on a new Project, and it is way more work than what I would have thought or am willing to do. But he likes bringing old barn finds back to life to drive again. This is a 1972 Charger Topper X. Looking at it now, and what his plan is, this should be a neat project. I'll keep ya'll updated on the progress.

I'm, 52 now. In 1980, my dad bought a 1971 Dodge Charger RT 440, from Community Chevrolet, in Maysville, N.C. He paid $300.00 for it. Single stage enamel paint "I, assume" was chalky. He, spent a day waxing it. Good old, 80's Turtle wax. It was, a reddish orange color. Looked, AWSOME! I, was completely in love with the car, @ 9 years old. Dad, discovered a rear main seal leak. He said, "I'm, selling this P.O.S.! I said no, why?! He said, "I'd, rather have a car that burns oil, than one that leaks oil"! What a character, he was!😊
Keep us posted John. I love the rebuild videos !
Will be fun watching this Mopar build 👍
Really Kool build! Mike, keep building it just like a restoration, but under the hood I would secretly Turbo the 440, I mean hidden... SLEEPER!!!
Sane people will never know what us car guys put ourselves through, mentally, physically, emotionally and financially lol

Ain’t that the truth
Now Mike needs to get him some cameras and start his own build videos. Come on Mike!!!
Looks like a nice project Mike. I had a friend who had a 1972 or 3 Sattelite Sebring Plus that color brown was a beautiful car.
That looks like Cool Seal that you put on the roof of a RV or mobile home 👍
Love Mopars, and Love fast cars…so this is AWSOME, And his Challenger is still really Cool. Building a Blown 63 Belvedere, will continue to race but it’s more of a street car.
I bought the very same 72 topper in green last year. If you think mopar parts are expensive, parts for these particular chargers are twice as much as the others. Is what it is. Cant stop now
Hell yea John
Very cool
My uncle had a white on!!! Crager super tricks on it!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice late model turbo hemi nice driver with air that will run in the nines😊
😂 Amazing!
FLEX SEAL 😆 🤣
It'd be fun to see this at Southeast Street-N-Yeet in November since it's the first real street-style build on the channel.
Well this is right up my ally. I race a 72 Charger
Pretty sure I saw him at Billy wests, I was out there getting parts for my duster
Cool car.
Speaking of Brian how is he doing? Has he started working on his shop?
I ha 2 of these - 1 big block , 1 small block
🎉🎉 MIKE IS GETTING BUSY 1 MONTH 😮.
Had a bright orange 73 Charger with a 67 440 six pack 375 hp but I didn't have the six pack I had a Holley
Moreparz cost more but worth more
Mike spent a long time looking for skin parts for the car
Mike should put a Ford motah in the car. That would really upset the Mopar purists.
I would definitely not put the vinyl top on
John what you gonna build for Kelly
Koolseal white rubberized koolseal
As a teenager my dad had a 73 pea green charger with a black vinyl top. I hated that car. It was so ugly. Now I see them and would probably drive one...lol.
Please don't leave the butt in the air! Make it level!

P.s 4.32 bore
I think a thousand horsepower on a stock block is unrealistic

No sir, many of us make well over a thousand. Mine on my channel has used 1100hp of fuel but I'm 13 hits on the car and having the converter redone. Matt Beal from tx has a stock block stock crank and has made 1500+. If you watch the small tire gangsters no prep his is the purple demon. Then Joseph dodd has been real fast, Mike C etc.
There is no big or small block in Pontiac engines. They are all just Pontiac engines. The 350 Pontiac isn’t a small or big block, same with the 400’s and 455’s. No small or large nomenclature.

Could be. Elastomeric is a flexible coating used primarily on roofs.
Tell Mike about cope racing transmissions. He has a KZread channel he makes racing stuff for 727 Chrysler transmissions. Which if anyone knows Chrysler made bad transmissions that is why the power glide was so revolutionary to us
That’s a big block Mopar! 4.800 bore space! It was like 4.320 bore standard! There is a huge difference between big block & small block, I think the SBM is similar bore space as a SBC, 4.400! All the ports are small in all wedge mopars! All performance Pontiac engines, blocks are all the same size! I think 4.600 bore space! Only different bore sizes! Good luck with it!
Coke bottle car
Hey Mike John has my phone number I can find you lots of 440 engine parts if you need them. I'm the guy with the white Fairmont that is 440 powered
