Sublimation printing is the process of printing onto a media (transfer paper), heating up the ink until it vaporizes and forcing that vapor with pressure into the surface of an object. A printer loaded with sublimation ink is required and a heatpress is needed for consistent and safe results. The blank object itself needs to be coated to grab the ink molecules or be made of polyester.
