On your own you could seek out several of these financial advisors, make sure the one you settle on is a fiduciary and not a fake. Know what you're getting out of it and see if your targets can be met.

Thank you for a great video!! I just signed up for Faire after watching this! 🥳I have these questions: 1.) What do you mean in the video when you say "You use the net 30 and that money in Faire covers shipping" 2.) Do you allow returns on Faire? Is it return heavy? Am wondering because I just do POD, and all my items are made to order...

This is great content and now I may add my pod to my Faire store if I can figure out how to split shipping between my pod and my handmade. I’ve been on there 4 years and have 100s of stockists. Id agree that it’s a great resource, but A couple things to consider tho which weren’t quite accurate. You have to price your stuff retail wise the same across all platforms or you violate toc. You have to price it at max 50% msrp , the tool won’t let you otherwise. The shipping is not always 100 reimbursed, if you are part of insider which I am, you sometimes have to pay for part of shipping but this is worthwhile bc insider buyers buy more than just being on the regular platform. But I’m not sure how selling on insider might work for pod bc of the potential ship cost which you don’t know until you have already accepted an order. This wasn’t so bad for my jewelry biz but shipping 50 sweatshirts might be an issue. Great reminder tho as I was trying to figure out how to add the pod to my shop.

Correct. If someone is already selling on Walmart Marketplace, and then starts selling on Faire, I wonder how Walmart would react to that. Also, once you wholesale a product on Faire to a brick and motar store, can't they sell your product on their own website and compete with you?

Hi! Interesting video! I’ve worked in the wholesale side of the apparel business for many years. A minimum mark up is double, preferably 2.2 or more. Cost of doing biz is high. But if a retailer sees you selling the same product cheaper on Etsy or Amazon you could lose a client. And now that we’re talking about this, I’ve always thought Etsy and POD sellers are pricing their goods too low. Why not raise your prices so you can wholesale which will build your brand and volume faster? Just a thought.

@@wyldstyle5013 Hi, thanks for your response. Not sure if you mean sellers on Etsy or Faire. Etsy sellers are selling retail as far as I can tell. Vendors don't usually post wholesale prices publicly. If someone is selling on Etsy and selling wholesale on Faire, then the Faire price should be much lower than the Etsy price. Retailers should be able to match the (Etsy) retail and get the mark up they need.
