Thanks! At 1:31:21, when you said, "Of course, I'm actually keeping mine private, there are no bonus points for sharing my Etsy shop with the world," I paused and thought, "Wait, you share your Etsy shop with the world every day" I suppose you meant it doesn't make business sense to share too much with potential future competitors. I'm genuinely surprised by how much you did share, although it does make sense, because it advertises your courses, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. This was the last piece of puzzle I needed. This video is invaluable, and I'm grateful for the insights you provided. I will definitely be leaving a tip as soon as I figure out how, I dont see anything. I can't believe how many apps and products are available to facilitate the process. (I figured out how to leave that tip) I previously owned a toy company for 10 years that unfortunately didn't survive the COVID-19 pandemic. We specialized in comic cons, anime shows, and events. We had a dedicated portion of the warehouse for Ecom where we stored, processed, sold, packed, and shipped products on Amazon (not FBA), eBay, and Premier Toys on Shopify. Creating mockups, editing photos, and packing orders was time-consuming, we literally had thousands of different items, and drop shipping proved inconsistent, especially with products from China, sometimes the item looks nothing like the photo, increasing the risk of negative reviews. Crafting listings with the right keywords, SEO, titles, descriptions, and shipping details was essential as it was the only way for customers to interact with the product. After watching your video, I realized how much easier it has become to produce designs and access high-quality products. There's no more customizing and packing brown boxes, no printing shipping labels until 2 a.m. during holiday seasons, no labor costs, inventory management, or storage issues. With the right prompts, AI can handle SEO, descriptions, design, and even some customer service. My past failures now seem perfectly relevant and useful. You have no idea how this video helped, and is going to help me. I initially had a different project in mind. I'm taking another Amazon FBA course with Ecom Freedom, which is excellent. After going though the course, one of the most important steps is to select the right product or category of products, we use jungle scout for Amazon. Find the hot trends, improve existing ones by adding features, or improvements. I needed to select a winning product that met specific criteria and submit it for approval; mine was a niche planner. Coincidentally, around that same time I needed to create a planner, I received an email from my favorite productivity planner creator, who was offering an early bird discount for his new course on how to make planner. How to sell, design, market, produce, and everything in between. When I see certain synchronicities, I perceive them confirmation that im on the right track. I completed the course and, after much research about the topic, and too much procrastination I'm almost done, I started the FBA course a year ago. I have finally finished the planner content, and my designer should be done soon with the final draft. My "Focus Planner: Achieve Your #1 Goal for People with ADHD" offers a scientific based system, with worksheets, timelines, time tracker, habit tracker, accountability, setting SMART goals, and creating a project list to accomplish one main goal at a time. Each project is then divided into a series of tasks and deadlines, and finally, each task is divided into specific actionable steps. I made this comment in detail so you know how much it is appreciated. For those who read this far, the Planner course is with the Panda Planner. You can create a planner in your own field to solve or work around a problem or condition people have, Ecom planner could be a good one. This is the best type of product because margins on printed niche planners are high. The quality print costs $5 to $8, and they sell for $40 to $60+. If you produce it digitally, it only costs you your time. Thank you again for your invaluable video, and can you tell me more about your course? What more do you offer, which topics do you cover? Do you include coaching in your course, or have a FB group?

I sell on Etsy and merch on demand. I have had the best luck using merch on-demand under different brand names for a general shop, covering many different niches. With Etsy, I've had the most success with a niche down shop with either a niched product or niche design audience using a mix of digital and print on demand and as well with digital downloads. I have sold without ADS on. Etsy, just choosing the right products for the right audience. I think with Etsy, that's key. You can have a general store. But I would much rather upload those to Amazon. Because there's too many copycats on etsy And too much of an array of products being shown to the customer, and they could go down rabbit holes and completely lose your product. I think on Merch because it's not so visually appealing with the T-shirt mockups that are all the same. people don't go down as many rabbit holes when they're searching for a gift . Amazon people know they have this stuff from China. They know they have books and then they know they have handmade, and yet I find people go to Amazon. When they know exactly what they want, I think people go to Etsy and they browse. Edited, to say, I've been a graphic designer since my 20s. I'm now 60 years old. And a lot of the t-shirts I've sold on Amazon are in areas that my age and life experience leads me to discover. Use your life knowledge and combine that with evergreen niches, trends and popular styles.

This happened to me and Amazon actually kept all my designs and are selling them currently on their website. In the terms of agreement it states if you make any designs they're entitled to keep them if they terminate your account. I was not violating any of their terms all my designs were original created using mid journey engineering and edited on Photoshop uploaded to Amazon merch I was a 10,000 tier seller and one day I logged in and it said terminated with no reasoning whatsoever why. Would be very careful with Amazon merch they basically stay in their terms that any designs you upload are their property at that point

If you jump into a crowded niche, you'll do better on Amazon without ads than on Etsy in my opinion. If you want to sell 4th of July products on Etsy you'll want to use ads (for calendar niches in general, plan on using ads) 👍

That's copyright infringement right there with the ketchup bottle too closely looking like Heinz. Not a good design to show on your video as it is like saying it's ok to do a design that looks too much like the real thing. I was confused. The last part of your video shows tshirts like for bachelorete parties and the one for the bride in one color and then like all the other ones have different sayings on the dark tshirt. That won't work for the method you are instructing because then you can't make multiple sayings like for the black tshirt because when you can't have multiple designs for the same tshirt color. Anyway thanks for your instruction on how to do this in printify. I love your stuff.
