Just a suggestion - you could paint one wall of the soap room with chalkboard paint. Then you can use it for to-do lists, etc. I also loved the idea of a jig for trimming the soap. With the business growing like this you’re going to have to find ways to work smarter not harder. I am so happy for you! God bless you and your family.

So glad Bumblewood Soaps has exploded on it's re-opening! Great idea to use the ole farmhouse as your soap factory for now. With the holidays coming up soon I see your business exploding for a long time. A hint for the boys to be able to help you trim the soaps faster. Have Ben make you a wooden jig with a "gouge" blade imbedded in a block of wood so the boys can slide the bars of soap over it to trim the edges. This will speed up the process, make even edges, and free up you to make more soap. I hope this helps! Congratulations again.

This is the time of the year to contact any tree services in your area and see if they need a free place to dump any mulch/limbs and to ask around your area for any old hay, barn floor clean out products being gotten rid of, and such type things. Dump it in an area of the farm and let it compost. Contact grocery stores, food stores for any organic trash to also add to your pile. Some corner gas stations might keep their used coffee grounds for you if you provide a bucket for them to dump it in, and you are courteous about when you come to collect them. Throw in cardboard boxes and papers too. Get it wet, cover it and let it do its thing. You'll have nice stuff come spring to add into your garden. Love that you have gotten your store back up and running and are overwhelmed with orders! Looking forward to ordering some of your products when you get caught up.

For some reason, that moves me, that picture.

Casey and Tori have an awesome operation there! What a world it would be if every community had several of these market garden operations to buy fresh produce from. Over followed them for a while now, since being introduced to them through Justin Rhodes channel. If you don’t follow them, do it now! And check out the stuff on beekeeping that Casey has posted. Great, educational content. His friends that keep bees are very knowledgeable. If I lived close, I would eat out of that garden every day he had product to sell. Keep up the good work Casey, you are a true professional.

Considering how much labor they need to put into everything, my suggestion as someone that works in this industry is to find a smaller accountants office that will roll bookkeeping and your tax returns into one fee. We do it for many of our clients and it's as painless as can be for small business owners. The Holler Homestead doesn't strike me as a place that has time for screwing around on a computer typing and clicking stuff.

Ben and Casey, just have to correct you😊 about those yards that you say "sit there and do nothing." For those of us who live in cities or suburbs, they provide a spot of green. Many of them provide jobs for people. We xeriscaped our yard so we wouldn't have to use a lot of expensive water and run a lawn mower, and now, in our old age, we are hiring people to come pull our weeds😊. But, perhaps more importantly, those "do nothing" yards provide food for the soul. Ah, the joy of green grass to walk on, and flowers to see and smell. Just thought I'd throw those thoughts out there for a little different perspective.😊 Seriously, love what both of your families are doing. Sadly, everyone can't do that. Wouldn't it nice if we all could. It think it would be a better world. Blessing to all of you.

Best idea for your old farm house. We are living in an old farm house, about the same age as yours and finding so many structural issues now. No termites, just 90 years of the earth shifting and past poor carpentry. The house is leaning now and the repairs are going to be outrageous. Been here since 2012, and wishing we would of sold 4 years ago. I was going to suggest, take your favorite parts, doors, fixtures and elements of the old farm house and incorporate them into a new home design.

Hey y'all, congratulations on your launch of bumblewood. Can't wait until I'm able to order some things from you😁think the farm house/soap studio is a very good idea. Maybe one day you could convert it into a "store like setting so people could come buy from you🙏💪👍

Went to order yesterday and everything said "sold out". I was so sad for me.....but so happy for the Hollers! Thank you Ben for showing us Honey Tree Farms from a different perspective. P.S. Your farmhouse is charming.

That's awesome Mrs. Having more orders than inventory is incredible. MY prayer is that you make a million bucks. God Bless....~Eli.

I think that's a dream come true!! I even mentioned that as an idea in a reply back on yesterday's Bumblewood email!! Meg, someday I wish you'd even consider adding yarn to the shop! Just think...Bumblewood Soap and Knittery!🧶 How awesome that would be to all of us knitters and crocheters!!!❤🥰 There's lots of indy dyers in NC too that would probably love to have their yarn showcased in another venue! I'm dreaming, I know, it's nice to think about though!! I loved that "home for wayward chickens"!👍

I am so happy that EVERYTHING sold out in under three hours!!! You guys are truly blessed! Nice that you were given Casey's troublesome chickens. Yup -- "home for wayward chickens" (giggles). Ben, Kudos on the drone footage at Casey's farm -- his place is beautiful! Best wishes from Kate in Olympia, WA - 10/3/2019.

I remember watching when Honey Tree Farm only had one tunnel of veggies. Look how far they have come. Awesome!
