Yeah, I know what you mean about sitting in there all day I spend too much time as it is. But at least my wife knows where to find me.! The expanded metal floor makes it so there’s no dust so they never have to breathe any nasty stuff. Thanks for your comment my friend.

Looking great! The screw & a fender washer is a good way to secure wire.

Beautiful looking new loft. Building a new loft you can incorporate all the ideas you wish you could have done on earlier lofts. The settling cage on top is brilliant ❤

Yes buddy, each Loft I built I got a little better and understood what the birds need more each time. This narrow but long design seems to get the young birds, strong fast. 👍

Looks massive and the interior is impressive. After the painting, the whole thing looks amazing, just pat your back for a job well done. Kudos to you!! The young lads looked pretty happy when you released them in the new loft for the first time, flapping their wings😁 Also, hope you feel better after becoming sick for a while. Well, the project is on the right trajectory. Keep on keeping on. Cheers!!

Depending on where you live if it doesn’t get too cold, you can use the expanded metal on the floor like I did here in South Carolina but in some areas of the country, I think it would be too much breeze in the winter

I work up to that distance for a few months, but I usually don’t train more than 50 miles and then the first race is around 100 miles

Not really I have seen a stumble once in a while but haven’t had any real problems. I would hate it if they got hurt from something I was trying to make their life better with. thanks for asking.

Oh, that’s the reason. It is up off the ground so I can easily reach in with a rake and pull all the droppings out. Also, it’s only 6 feet wide and I can easily reach in from the backside. Thanks for your question.

I’m sorry I didn’t mention the size in this video. I went over that on part one but it is 6 feet wide and 24 feet long. The low side of the roof is 6 feet high and the high side is 7 feet high. Thanks for asking ✌️
