I like how this change rewards closing the gap mostly by skill before popping your ability to finish closing in. The closer you are before sprint, the better.

Funnily enough this change was suggested in the darkest hour podcast, they might have just took that idea

The one tweak I'd make is to swap the buckler for a lantern so you can use dual wield, or maybe a stiletto if you still benefit from both weapon's armor penetration.

I respect your choice and I completely agree that your suggestion will work. 10% ARMOR PEN IS A LOT! Iron Mace overturned armor pen and I think Stilleto + WarHammer build might be cooking right now...

I run this same kit and you can raise that pdr and magic res easily while still being strong with way cheaper gear and lantern shield adds a lot while also making people think twice about hitting you.

Hey, I'd love to hear your thoughts on all the weapons available to the fighter, maybe a tierlist lol, because I couldn't find anything related. There are so many weapons that seem completely forgotten. Cheers!

You should check out Slayer with the new sprint too :) It is a fast and fun build I can’t decide on weapons- but 20-15% armor pen main hand + short sword off hand gives you a fat +7 weapon damage and 15% action speed from perks. Still need to test some variation of armor pen daggers 🗡️

They should add slipstream mechanic player in the front punching a hole in the air and thus reducing the air resistance applied to the player behind increasing his movespeed

Insane, just toying with them lol. Kiting with a survival bow as a PDR Fighter is absurd lol. But you are right the game needs a lot of work in terms of combat mechanics. I think because at its base, it is a really simple game, so kiting and range just inherently is at an advantage. They need to introduce some talent trees that help introduce more combat mechanics that can offer different solutions to the game.t

Agreed, If the game had melee combat like a tuned down version of chiv 2, we would naturally see a melee meta. It would be more fun and skill based, so people would desire to melee, and it would be stronger. Ranged and casting classes would be for those that don’t care to invest time in learning melee combat, it would honestly be pretty balanced since the game doesn’t force you to be good at melee fighting.

Chiv 2 isn'T even that complicated its basicly casual mordhau I agree with you that we need a more fletched out melee system to bring as more skill expression / higher skill ceiling the only player that are against that (and always scream :ThiS is NoT ChiV ) are the ones that want to gear check everybody

Each and every class stronger than the other with the only difference some one them at the bottom of the food chain. I prefer Barb as it's a good budget class to play with. The only down side the class has a low counter play against S tier classes.

Dimo. Would changing to lightfoot & a Falchion/Arming sword have an impact in this build? I dont like daggers that much.

@@92BelluS Arming Sword is good for fast AD. You can use Falchion, for more damage, I typically run Arming Sword, with a different build, and can kill anyone.

it's actually got really better, warlock was out of control and when 1 class is too oppressive, the other doesn't feel as good. Right now warlocks are less common by 0.5% and with recent buff that I have shown in the wideo the fighter feels much better.

i just get deleted by a fighter while i was playing bard with all the buff on me, he was always on my heels, I couldn't shake him off, didn't understand how he can run so fast with that whole armor.

What are you supposed to do about fighter shooting arrows then stabbing you in the face? Run? Hide?

too expensive. This kit is also on a budget side. The whole kit is worth 4k under on market. With true damage that number would need to be doubled.

my kit is good budget rondel kit, you can also see what I made at the end of the wideo(Probably 5x of the gear I was using in value). Usually if people watch my Wideos from start to the end they get all their questions answered.

Sees 3 okay ish greens and goes omg this guy was geared.... no you with yellows purples and 2 out 3 rolls on all equipment being biss you are turbo geared. You did find like 1 or 2 geared ppl but come on. When you say omg this guy is geared it should mean something. Not omg this guy has gear on.

Every patch makes rogue more and more unplayable. Fighter is overloaded, so is cleric. Playing rogue is just a pain.

You are a very good players with many hours and you kill many players that are worse or equally good as you are. All while commenting about how the build you are showing is toxic and bad for the game. Why is this the picture you are trying to paint? On barb you kill kiting classes and on kiting classes you kill barbs. You are showing that both is possible while in each video talking as if it's badly designed and not possible. We all like this game, you clearly do too, why be so negative about balancing as a trademark?

I try not to be negative and I try to show case everyone the current aspects of the game. I don't want to go in details but what I do is show case the perfect scenarios in which the specific build will thrive. This is the state the game is in right now. Bard support class that is also the strongest solo class? (Does it make any sense) Warlock strongest solo class for 1 year straight. Cleric (Class that has no counters and can deal with every single class in the game (because was overturned in recent patches) Barbarian (Can only fight 2-3 classes with specific build while loosing to every other class) Fighter (wins against 5 classes, looses to clerics, wizards, warlocks and struggles against rangers) Ranger (Controls the fight against every class, a trap = de*th unless you are cleric) Rogue (Has a mechanic that doesn't give you any form of counter play, they over buffed rogue again, 1 year no change) Druid (New class that was nerfed for no reasons withing couple of days) Wizard (A class that was dominating every single aspect of the game since the first day the game came out) Am I being Dramatic? I am being honest right now, simple as that. I censor and control myself to absolute limit when making any statements. What you see on screen is a filtered version and likely 3-4 attempt to finalize my thoughts in one Wideo without making any one upset.
