What was the reason for the dagger again?

I think cyclops it’s 20x easier, especially as warlock if you ever get low during rock fall you just get 2 dots up and phantomize. The rest is literally just hold right and hellfire lol super easy. Gl and good vid btw

I think cave troll is easier as warlock and cyclops is easier as all other classes. you just kill the troll so fast with hellfires

You can heal off of the Hydra if you curse of pain it

hi Foxman!! is curse mastery better than Malice since i don't have enough knowledge to use hydra when i run my casting build....any thoughts? by the way will curse mastery reduce the damage and extend the duration time? or it's just more damage in total .

Curse Mastery only extends the duration not the damage. So it still does the same amount of damage just the ticks do less over longer equaling out to the same total amount of damage. IMO run Dark Reflection if solo as free damage in melee is way more impactful than any other option.

Curse Mastery makes power of sacrifice deal more damage, but for curse of pain it is the same damage just spread over a longer duration, the other nice thing about curse mastery is you get more healing from the extra ticks, but malice and dark reflection are also both good

Lock is not good as a heal lock at base gear. It's doable but hydra is a no go for it. Your heals are relying on pve. It's better to get a hybrid with spells to help heal and then blow for damage.

If you finish some quests and grab occultist boots, oracle robe, leather chausses and rawhide gloves (I think you can skip one of these, preferrably gloves for mystic gloves) then you can run hellfire, curse of pain, power of sacrifice and flame walker on base kit. That's what I use to farm bosses and defend myself. As for best base kit class it's probably barbarian(?)

Best class base kit probably a fighter imo. You can take the perk so you can bring a bow/crossbow and use whatever main you prefer. You can also wear most things so you can go all plate or all cloth armor once you’ve done some quests. 2nd wind and sprint are really good when classes don’t have as much burst or speed. You won’t really be the best at anything though, if you can really land your shots longbow ranger might be better but spacing is gonna be really important with no gear. If you really like the brawl and can bonk heads barbarian is really good and straightforward low gear.

Great video as usual, I still rock TM even after nerfs it seem fine to me. The only thing that don’t suit me in warlock is life drain, I’d rather go with classic CoP, sacrifice, hydras and bolt especially for PvP

Cave troll may be seen as harder because he has the potential to one shot you, whereas cyclops doesn't do as much burst damage/has only 1 insta kill move. My issue with cyclops is when hes smashing the ground making rocks fall, took a while to learn the timing on the jumps but once you get it down cyclops is easy.

regarding cyclops - i just recently (a few days ago) managed to learn how to do both bosses in GC (normal for now) as a warlock with hellfire. Cyclops is definitely easier except for one thing - the fucking rockfall phase. It still sometimes randomly kills me. But other than that, its much easier to not get hit on cyclops (especially sinse you don't need to go into melee), and even if you do you don't die and can heal up

I’m somewhat newer but I try to run both bosses when I do the caves. Idk if it’s just me but cyclops is easier on warlock just because 95% of the time you’re going to take some damage on the rockfall phase and you don’t have to worry about losing DPS like other classes having to health pot and stuff so you can do it quicker and more efficiently. Also on HR you get a get out of jail free card with ur phantomize if you get eye-beamed. Cavetroll is def the way to go if you’re just doing one boss though because if pelt and stuff

@@FoxmanSlays right, most times I don’t even attempt pile solo, only time I hit pile is if I got a duo or trio. I just try to get the gold in the middle. Highroller seems to give like double the gold mining versus what normals does as well unless I’m smokin somethin. Most I get out of normals gold is like 12 if you’re lucky

The cyclops is easier as soon as you get the boulderfall jump timing down. Until then, it feels like you have to get through 2-3 unavoidable damage phases

Commenting for Algo and info. Cyclops is indeed easier to do than Troll. Just circle right and jump for all his attacks. You don't need to jump them all, I just find it easier than learning which attacks do require it. If he raises club and speaks, wait till he finishes speaking then its jump - jump - duck, rock fall phase is just jump to either side shortly after he slams, rocks will sometimes hit you directly anyways though, make sure to keep curses up for rock fall. For his beam, he does 1 halfway between each rockfall phase. First 1 will be after 3-4 hellfires depending on gear. If he does a normal attack after the 4th there'll be a slight pause after that attack and he'll beam, just get behind him and if he catches you with it then phantomize. If you want safety after phantoming the beam, slow the dps down abit after rockfall until its ready so you don't trigger another beam. Oh and if he goes for stomp then back up, provided your over 290 MS you can still dodge all his attacks while slowed just circling right as usual so don't panic if you get slowed. Once you're comfortable with the fight, its also great to leave him alive if someone tries to fight you in the room, its free healing and you can trigger a rock fall easily to assist with killing the other player, you can always phantom during the rockfall if you do get low. Hope this helps :D Edit: Also, never stand directly behind him, his club slam will have insane tracking if you are, died to that once and immediately learnt never go directly behind him in case he does that attack.

I went into HR with a decent kit immediately after the update(not reading it). I killed myself summoning hydra.

cyclops is way easier than troll, its just the rock fall phases that are a bit finnicky also I think torture mastery is kinda still fine, it just forces you to either bring more magical healing, or run life drain or not run hydra. honestly think it was a good change, warlock needed nerfs, its my main class too

This is perfect for a warlock dont need to heal up full hp in sec this need you to play with skill not a overpowerd class

As someone who recently learned both bosses at the same time I find cyclops MUCH easier on warlock because it's especially good at the only hard part which is the rockfall. You can heal during that phase and it usually only takes about 2 hellfires to get out of it. Cave Troll for me was much harder to learn because the boss seemed much more finicky wrt positioning. One wrong move on cave troll can put you in a world of hurt. Cyclops' move set is much more forgiving and predictable

Yeah Cyclops is way easier. Even if you don't know how to dodge Cyclops though you can just make him hit hydra, then just keep them both leeched, hydras fresh, and hellfires going. I still love TM.

What class do you know has to take damage to do damage? Then of those how squishy compared to lock? The answer is easy. None. It's the only class. And it takes massive damage to cast and that hurts when trying to keep Alive. The pots don't stack so you cast two spells and have to run. It makes half the skills useless for the class. Even wiz can use throwing knives. Range is still the meta here. If you can deal and get away as needed range does that then you can win. It's even worse now that clarity pots are back. Wiz just drinks it and spells are back. That can be done while still attacking and pushing.

@@johnard8831 Clarity pots as written only help when resting, warlock can outheal you in every situation against every class. You can phase and reset or even lure a lot of mobs to heal, in 1v1 is still king

Fr the change just makes it so they can't spam hydras constantly. They can still spam them though they have to cast both power and curse. I think it's a good balance change and doesn't nerf the class into the ground it's still a top class imo

They will buff range constantly! Rangers always buffed. But the one class that doesn't have any range without the cost of health IE I damage myself to do damage! Gets nerffed! Why? "Balance"? I call BS. It's listening to people who get clapped and then say my class sucks when they havw all the tools to win just can't play well enough.

If they didn't want you to heal off hydra then they have two options. Make it not heal! Or it be the only one that cost 3 times. I understand why they did it the way was trash. Don't force all spells to be 3 time. 2 for all 3 for hydra. Cant heal to full unless kitted to high end.

Please stop crying about it. Warlock is still very good they didn't change the healing scaling for tm at all it's still very good.
