Today we’re joined by the one and only Mark Ballas and his wife, BC Jean Ballas! Mark and I go way back to season 8 of Dancing with the Stars where we won the Mirrorball trophy and became the champions together! Earlier this year, Mark announced his retirement from DWTS and a few months later, he and BC announced they were pregnant! We couldn’t be happier for them and it’s been so fun knowing BC and I are both pregnant at the same time! I loved your Dancing with the Stars seasons. And it was so fun to see you and Mark and the other DWTS people perform in Iowa in 2009. I especially had fun when we did the virtual game night in 2020.

Has always been my favorite dancer on the show. Derek had amazing technical skills, but Mark is a showman. He could dance with a broomstick and make it look good!

Yes-Shawn-You are an Incredible person but just weak in math!-you and Mark competed in 2009 on DWTS when you were 17!!-(you were born in January 1992!!)-then you competed 3 years on DWTS All-Stars with Derek when you were 20!!
Another great couple to interview would be Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell.

Shawn won with Mark Ballas _not_ "when I was 16 years old" as she repeatedly claims for some odd reason but instead _'took home the Mirror-Ball'_ when she was well into her 18th year on earth; 17 years 4 months to be more precise. The discrepancy doesn't detract from her accomplishment on the dance-floor...she was great regardless.
