“This big old S stuck out in my face, and it had four more letters with it U...D...A...N...Sudan...and I said to myself wow. I looked it up, and it said they had a village, and in that village they had a group of men that would go from village to village dancing for peace. That hit my heart.” This is a quote from one of the founders.

Hi @Subject Matter Experts would you happen to know what events will be happening in NOLA during the week of Christmas? I see we'll miss a second line during the time of our visit. We will definitely have to return because my 8 y/o daughter has been wanting to attend a second line. I'm open to all suggestions from anyone on family activities you might know of.

Sudan has been around for at least 40 years. They put on one of the biggest Second Lines every year.

Nah you just didn’t realize how many second lines were happening. The second line schedule has been the same for probably 30 years. We know exactly what second line comes next. The only thing that has really changed is how big the clubs are.
