It is refreshing to see a couple who are genuine, look great in front of the camera, and have that lovely Southern Accent.

Yummy!

This place had the best looking good of any of the places you have beem (except the PEDDLER) !!!

I noticed La Bamba was on the television at 4:58 Now that’s my kind of restaurant🤩

Mine and the wife's favorite in Gatlinburg. Make multiple visits most times. You missed out Mike on the Seafood Gumbo. It is absolutely out of this World and makes a meal in itself. Have you heard about how this place came to be. These folks were displaced by Hurricane Katrina and relocated to Gatlinburg. The mom developed sickness after the move but the dad and a Grandma and their daughters have kept it going. We love this place and have tried to keep their name out there for future visitors.

Did it move since that shopping strip is closed. You should try Ruby Sunshine it is a related to the New Orleans restaurants called the Ruby Slipper awesome food and spirits. We just went last week.

Wow food from my neck of the woods. By reading the menu and seeing the food, that is not authentic new orleans cuisine. Poboy’s are not served on french bread. There is bread here called leidenheimer loaf, made only here in new Orleans at a bakery. It is crisp and light and doesn’t fight you when bitten into. Try a Barqs root beer to drink, it started from here until Coke took it over and now you can find it almost anywhere in the usa.

It’s been many years since I’ve eaten there. Love this place! Hope others support it. The muffuletta sandwich is very awesome! I’m a big Cajun food fan. It’s hard to find Cajun restaurants. Thanks for reminding me of this place. My other favorite little restaurant is the German restaurant in the village. A lot of people don’t know it’s there.

Chad you should try Ruby Sunshine. We are from south Louisiana and it is part of Ruby Slipper out of New Orleans we went to Ruby Sunshine last week it was good. The shrimp dish was on spot. It was a treat to have some NOLA cooking in Gatlinburg. It is next to Ripleys

Never been there, but looks like another place need to try! It looked good what you both got. I would want to try maybe red beans and fried okra that you mentioned Karen. I'm not fan of onion rings neither, but looked good. I haven't came across to many places that have okra especially here in Ohio.

Hate to be the bad guy here. Being from the New Orleans area all my life, I'm wondering where the owners came from. The bread looks like French bread not PoBoy. True PoBoy bread is what makes the sandwich. Roast beef PoBoy's are meant to be eaten like a sandwich with fries on the plate to catch the gravy that falls off. Don't get me wrong, I love a good sandwich like the ones y'all had, but this isn't a true New Orleans shop to me.
