NEW ORDER NEWS + TEMPORARY ALLOCATION | Diesels, Hybrids & Electrics On Route W7 (Observations)

Some of Metroline's orders have recently been announced, including...
Thirty four 10.2m GB Kite Electroliners for routes 143 and C11,
Ten 9.7m Volvo BZLs for route 382,
Twelve 10.8m Volvo BZLs for route 206,
And Fourty Six 10.9m E400 EVs for routes 210, W7 and W8 (with one for route 206).
Now for route W7, Which has recently been using Gemini 2 diesels, Gemini 3 hybrids and Electroliner EVs recently. Some of the ex Tower Transit Gemini 3 hybrids which have been used on routes 212 and 306, Are now being used on route 481, Which is now operated by Metroline. Some Gemini 2s are now being used on route 28. The new Electroliner EVs are meant for route 83.
Route W7 runs from Finsbury Park Station, To Muswell Hill Broadway. Via Stroud Green, Crouch Hill Station, And Crouch End Broadway.
Route W7 is 3 miles (4.8 km) long. The route runs around every 3 to 10 minutes, And has a Peak Vehicle Requirement of 17. The PVR of route W7 will be reduced to 11 in the future.
Route W7 is run by Metroline. Route W7 runs from Holloway (HT) garage. Route W7 started as route 212. The route was renumbered in 1969, And was chosen to trial cashless boarding in 2001.

When 143 and C11 convert to electrics the last bus that uses enviro 200s that goes in my borough will be 234 😢

I can't wait to see the new kites on 143/C11, they will look great.I expected more BZL SDs,but not more BYDs,I would have thought it to be more WDEs or even the BZL DD
Wasn't expecting metroline to buy more ADL stuff again as there preference is mostly wrights/volvos but I wonder whether they'll be the BYD ones or the intégral ones from next year

I kind of hope they do order the new integral ones because it's nice to have some variety even if they do look a bit questionable...
More news I found today: The changes to routes 211 and 77 could be happening on the 29th of June (the same day the 211 passes to TUK). And route 110's frequency will be reduced from a bus every 15 minutes to a bus every 20 minutes on the 1st of June, which is so annoying as it's a really useful route.

As a local to the 110,this cut in frequency will not go down well.Even if the route is long and unreliable,it is still very useful and busy.If anything the route should be every 12 mins (5 bph) and increase the PVR to 17/18 using the ex-223 DLEs
And apparently GoAhead have ordered some new BYD integrals

They're too old for a new contract so they have to get replaced
