Today is the last day of route 481 RATP operation. Tomorrow, Saturday the 11th of May, Route 481 will be operated by Metroline. The route will run from Brentford (AH). The route will use existing Gemini 3 hybrids, Which were used on routes 212, 306, U4 and W7. At the same time, the PVR will increase from 5 to 6. Route 481D will continue to be operated by Transport UK with Electroliner EVs.
Route 481 runs from West Middlesex Hospital, To Kingston. Via Isleworth, Ivybridge, Twickenham Tesco, Whitton, Fulwell, Teddington, And Teddington Police Station for Teddington Station.
Due to the temporary closure of Cromwell Road Bus Station, Route 481 is terminating at Wood Street, And is starting at Kingston Station until Summer 2024.
Route 481D is a school day only service with 2 return journeys. Route 481D runs from Kingston to Whitton, Ashley Drive. Via Teddington Station and Fulwell.
