Wow, if there was something that could brighten up my week............ I heard many versions and I really love the 12'' vinyl's B-side track "The Beach" as well, and always had a soft side for Joy Division and New Order both (Nazi names if one is interested...), but this Remix Re-edited is quite special. Definitely way better than most. They're all so, boring? I do love the Hardfloor version though.

In some way a close relation of Donna Summer and I Feel Love, especially in this version.

Absolutely love this remix of the classic 12”, if anything this sounds just as good if not better than the original with a more modern sound, if I was new order I’d seriously consider releasing it sound like this it’s that good

I always had a cassette ready in the deck in case I caught them on the radio :) It's awesome that we can have all these remixes of the songs we grew up with 😁. My favorite Blue Monday version is hands down by Hardfloor.

Still have the original 12" version at home on vinyl!! Probably the most defining song of the 80's that got a lot of other groups into the sythn sounds that make 80's music soooooooo good!!

Is that one of the prints that cost more than they sold it for with the fancy foil printing on the sleeve? Which almost bankrupted Factory records because of how well it sold lol.

It's an eternal favorite of mine and I've heard countless remixes of it. I didn't think they could show anything new, but this turned out to be an incredibly phenomenal, hypnotic, modern version! From the very beginning, he grabbed me, caught me and captivated me. In a new guise, respecting the original to the maximum, but still raising it to a higher level, this version has written itself into the music history book. ;-)
The Hardloor mix was played everywhere in the 90's and this it the first 'new' mix to come anywhere near it :)
