The ones who already got retail optical shop always advice "do not open it is a very hard to be done", or wish if there is a way to restrict the surrouding area fron new competition.... fun and controversal

A must see video for anyone considering opening an optical dispensary. I speak from experience when I say factors outside the business owner's control can severely impact sales (think 911 and pandemics). Not to say feeling pride of ownership is not worth it, but as you very clearly explain, it comes at a price.

8:06 Overstaffing I recently got a job at an optical place. We have a new employee... She literally shouts from the desk to greet the costumers, and hoovers around the door to”greet” the costumers, and the even greets the costumers when she already is with someone else. We were fine with without her.

Ah, the GREETER! Seems a tad over-the-top but far better than the entire place ignoring the customer that just walked in the door! Maybe she used to work where that was expected? I know we have Moe's here and they do it every time. Maybe someone could ask her about it? I don't think I'm against hovering around the door to greet the next or potential customer. What could be better if she knows what to say and do?

We had 4 contests going so I'd need to know which one you are talking about. The rules state that you must email me through the OpticianWorks website to claim a prize. If I got an email from you, with a US mailing address, within one week you would have received a prize.

Why? It is available online at OpticianWorks.com. Signing on with a network would just raise the price and our income would stay the same.
